- Seek good, and not evil,
that ye may live:
and so the Lord, the God of hosts, shall be with you,
as ye have spoken. - For thus saith the Lord unto the house of Israel, Seek ye me, and ye shall live.
- But let judgment run down as waters,
and righteousness as a mighty stream. - Surely the Lord God will do nothing,
but he revealeth his secret
unto his servants the prophets. - It is he that buildeth his stories in the heaven,
and hath founded his troop in the earth;
he that calleth for the waters of the sea,
and poureth them out upon the face of the earth:
The Lord is his name.
And the angel answered and said unto her, The Holy Ghost shall come upon thee, and the power of the Highest shall overshadow thee: therefore also that holy thing which shall be born of thee shall be called the Son of God.
