Who his own self bare our sins in his own body on the tree, that we, being dead to sins, should live unto righteousness: by whose stripes ye were healed.Who Himself bore our sins in His own body on the tree, that we, having died to sins, might live for righteousness—by whose stripes you were healed.
And the angel answered and said unto the women, Fear not ye: for I know that ye seek Jesus, which was crucified. He is not here: for he is risen, as he said. You seek Jesus of Nazareth, who was crucified. He is risen! He is not here. See the place where they laid Him.”

For the preaching of the cross is to them that perish foolishness; but unto us which are saved it is the power of God.For the message of the cross is foolishness to those who are perishing, but to us who are being saved it is the power of God.

And he said to them all, If any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross daily, and follow me.Then He said to them all, “If anyone desires to come after Me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross daily, and follow Me.”
And when he had called the people unto him with his disciples also, he said unto them, Whosoever will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow me.When He had called the people to Himself, with His disciples also, He said to them, “Whoever desires to come after Me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow Me.”
