Evangelism (2/2)

For I decided to know nothing among you except Jesus Christ and him crucified. For I determined not to know anything among you except Jesus Christ and Him crucified.
But you are a chosen race, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people for his own possession, that you may proclaim the excellencies of him who called you out of darkness into his marvelous light. But you are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, His own special people, that you may proclaim the praises of Him who called you out of darkness into His marvelous light.
Jesus said to them again, “Peace be with you. As the Father has sent me, even so I am sending you.”So Jesus said to them again, “Peace to you! As the Father has sent Me, I also send you.”
And every day, in the temple and from house to house, they did not cease teaching and preaching that the Christ is Jesus. And daily in the temple, and in every house, they did not cease teaching and preaching Jesus as the Christ.
And he said to them, “Follow me, and I will make you fishers of men.”Then He said to them, “Follow Me, and I will make you fishers of men.”
For we are God's fellow workers. You are God's field, God's building. For we are God’s fellow workers; you are God’s field, you are God’s building.
So Peter opened his mouth and said: “Truly I understand that God shows no partiality, but in every nation anyone who fears him and does what is right is acceptable to him.”Then Peter opened his mouth and said: “In truth I perceive that God shows no partiality. But in every nation whoever fears Him and works righteousness is accepted by Him.”
And I heard the voice of the Lord saying, “Whom shall I send, and who will go for us?” Then I said, “Here I am! Send me.”Also I heard the voice of the Lord, saying: “Whom shall I send, And who will go for Us?” Then I said, “Here am I! Send me.”
To this day I have had the help that comes from God, and so I stand here testifying both to small and great, saying nothing but what the prophets and Moses said would come to pass: that the Christ must suffer and that, by being the first to rise from the dead, he would proclaim light both to our people and to the Gentiles. Therefore, having obtained help from God, to this day I stand, witnessing both to small and great, saying no other things than those which the prophets and Moses said would come— that the Christ would suffer, that He would be the first to rise from the dead, and would proclaim light to the Jewish people and to the Gentiles.
How I did not shrink from declaring to you anything that was profitable, and teaching you in public and from house to house. How I kept back nothing that was helpful, but proclaimed it to you, and taught you publicly and from house to house.
Let what you heard from the beginning abide in you. If what you heard from the beginning abides in you, then you too will abide in the Son and in the Father. Therefore let that abide in you which you heard from the beginning. If what you heard from the beginning abides in you, you also will abide in the Son and in the Father.
Great indeed, we confess, is the mystery of godliness: He was manifested in the flesh, vindicated by the Spirit, seen by angels, proclaimed among the nations, believed on in the world, taken up in glory. And without controversy great is the mystery of godliness: God was manifested in the flesh, Justified in the Spirit, Seen by angels, Preached among the Gentiles, Believed on in the world, Received up in glory.
All this is from God, who through Christ reconciled us to himself and gave us the ministry of reconciliation. Now all things are of God, who has reconciled us to Himself through Jesus Christ, and has given us the ministry of reconciliation.

Bible verse of the day

For as we share abundantly in Christ's sufferings, so through Christ we share abundantly in comfort too.
