‘the stone that was rejected by you, the builders;
it has become the cornerstone.’ - I have not come to call the righteous but sinners to repentance.
- While he was still speaking, suddenly a bright cloud overshadowed them, and a voice from the cloud said, “This is my Son, the Beloved; with him I am well pleased; listen to him!”
- To the one who conquers I will give a place with me on my throne, just as I myself conquered and sat down with my Father on his throne.
- I write these things to you who believe in the name of the Son of God, so that you may know that you have eternal life.
- If the Spirit of him who raised Jesus from the dead dwells in you, he who raised Christ Jesus from the dead will give life to your mortal bodies also through his Spirit that dwells in you.
- I made your name known to them, and I will make it known, so that the love with which you have loved me may be in them and I in them.
- And we know that the Son of God has come and has given us understanding so that we may know him who is true; and we are in him who is true, in his Son Jesus Christ. He is the true God and eternal life.
- So if the Son makes you free, you will be free indeed.
- Blessed are you when people hate you and when they exclude you, revile you, and defame you on account of the Son of Man.
