Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace. - For in him the whole fullness of deity dwells bodily, and you have come to fullness in him, who is the head of every ruler and authority.
- And this is eternal life, that they may know you, the only true God, and Jesus Christ whom you have sent.
- Whoever has the Son has life; whoever does not have the Son of God does not have life.
- But God, who is rich in mercy, out of the great love with which he loved us even when we were dead through our trespasses, made us alive together with Christ —by grace you have been saved—.
- If the world hates you, be aware that it hated me before it hated you.
- Therefore God also highly exalted him
and gave him the name
that is above every name,
so that at the name of Jesus
every knee should bend,
in heaven and on earth and under the earth. - And the Word became flesh and lived among us, and we have seen his glory, the glory as of a father's only son, full of grace and truth.
- If you know me, you will know my Father also. From now on you do know him and have seen him.
- He was despised and rejected by others;
a man of suffering and acquainted with infirmity;
and as one from whom others hide their faces
he was despised, and we held him of no account. - Jesus said to him, “Have you believed because you have seen me? Blessed are those who have not seen and yet have come to believe.”
