- Do not make gods from silver or from gold instead of me. You will not make them for yourselves.

- I rejoice in following your statutes
more than I would rejoice in endless riches. - I, the Lord, am your God. You must obey my laws and be careful to observe my ordinances. Keep holy my Sabbaths as a sign between me and you so that you will know that I am the Lord, your God.
- We have sinned and done what is wrong, we have acted wickedly and rebelled, we have rejected your commandments and your laws.
- You shall not kill. You shall not commit adultery. You shall not steal. You shall not bear false witness. Honor your father and your mother. Love your neighbor as yourself.
- Everyone who sins breaks the law,
for sin is lawlessness. - Therefore, whoever breaks even one of the least of these commandments and teaches others to do the same will be considered least in the kingdom of heaven. But whoever observes these commandments and teaches them will be called great in the kingdom of heaven.
- We ourselves are Jews by birth and not Gentile sinners, yet we know that a man is justified not by the works of the Law but through faith in Jesus Christ. So we too came to believe in Christ Jesus so that we might be justified by faith in him and not by the works of the Law, for no one will be justified by the works of the Law.
- When someone sins and does any of the things that the Lord has forbidden, even if he does not realize he did it, he has still committed an offense and must bear his guilt.
- Dispose my heart to follow your statutes
and to flee selfish gain. - Does God give you the Spirit and work mighty deeds among you because you have kept the Law or because you believed what you have heard?
- I do not set aside the grace of God, for if justification comes through the Law, then Christ died for nothing.
- You shall obey his statutes and the commandments that I give you today, so that all may go well with you and your children after you, and that you may live long in the land that the Lord, your God, has given you for all time.
- The second is like it: ‘You shall love your neighbor as yourself.’
- The way of the Lord is a stronghold for the upright,
but destruction for evildoers. - Every word you utter is true,
and all your righteous judgments are everlasting. - Whoever observes the commandments will live,
but the one who scorns them will die. - The Lord said to Moses, “Climb up to me on the mountain and remain there. I will give you stone tablets with the laws and commandments that I have written for their instruction.”
- You shall observe my commandments and obey them. I am the Lord.
- Anyone who has received my commandments
and observes them
is the one who loves me.
And whoever loves me
will be loved by my Father,
and I will love him
and reveal myself to him. - My son, do not forget my teaching,
but cherish my commandments in your heart,
for they will bring you length of days,
more years of life, and an abundance of prosperity. - I will walk in complete freedom
because I have sought your commands.
