| We also know that the law is made not for the righteous but for lawbreakers and rebels, the ungodly and sinful, the unholy and irreligious, for those who kill their fathers or mothers, for murderers, for the sexually immoral, for those practicing homosexuality, for slave traders and liars and perjurers—and for whatever else is contrary to the sound doctrine that conforms to the gospel concerning the glory of the blessed God, which he entrusted to me. | Realizing the fact that law is not made for a righteous person but for those who are lawless and rebellious, for the ungodly and sinners, for the unholy and worldly, for those who kill their fathers or mothers, for murderers, for the sexually immoral, homosexuals, slave traders, liars, perjurers, and whatever else is contrary to sound teaching, according to the glorious gospel of the blessed God, with which I have been entrusted. |
| If you follow my decrees and are careful to obey my commands, I will send you rain in its season, and the ground will yield its crops and the trees their fruit. | If you walk in My statutes and keep My commandments so as to carry them out, then I shall give you rains in their season, so that the land will yield its produce and the trees of the field will bear their fruit. |

| And if we are careful to obey all this law before the Lord our God, as he has commanded us, that will be our righteousness. | And it will be righteousness for us if we are careful to follow all this commandment before the Lord our God, just as He commanded us. |

| If anyone turns a deaf ear to my instruction, even their prayers are detestable. | One who turns his ear away from listening to the Law, Even his prayer is an abomination. |
| Observe the commands of the Lord your God, walking in obedience to him and revering him. | Therefore, you shall keep the commandments of the Lord your God, to walk in His ways and to fear Him. |
| In fact, the law requires that nearly everything be cleansed with blood, and without the shedding of blood there is no forgiveness. | And almost all things are cleansed with blood, according to the Law, and without the shedding of blood there is no forgiveness. |
| I desire to do your will, my God; your law is within my heart. | I delight to do Your will, my God; Your Law is within my heart. |
| The Lord commanded us to obey all these decrees and to fear the Lord our God, so that we might always prosper and be kept alive, as is the case today. | So the Lord commanded us to follow all these statutes, to fear the Lord our God for our own good always and for our survival, as it is today. |
