Life (3/6)

I know that there is no good in them, but for a man to rejoice, and to do good in his life. And also that every man should eat and drink, and enjoy the good of all his labour, it is the gift of God.I understand that man’s greatest happiness is to be glad and do well throughout his life. And when we eat and drink and find satisfaction in all our labors, this is a gift of God.
Thou wilt shew me the path of life: in thy presence is fulness of joy; at thy right hand there are pleasures for evermore. You will show me the path to life; you will fill me with joy in your presence and everlasting delights at your right hand.

For ye are bought with a price: therefore glorify God in your body, and in your spirit, which are God's.Do you not know that your body is the temple of the Holy Spirit within you, whom you have received from God, and that you are not your own? You have been purchased at a price. Therefore, glorify God in your body.
There is a way which seemeth right unto a man, but the end thereof are the ways of death. There is a way that seems right to a man, but the end of it leads to death.
For to be carnally minded is death; but to be spiritually minded is life and peace. The desires of the flesh result in death, but the desires of the Spirit result in life and peace.

All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: That the man of God may be perfect, thoroughly furnished unto all good works. All Scripture is inspired by God and is useful for teaching, for refutation, for correction, and for training in uprightness, so that the man of God may be proficient and equipped for good work of every kind.
For what is a man profited, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul? or what shall a man give in exchange for his soul? What will it profit a man if he gains the whole world and forfeits his very life? Or what can he give in exchange for his life?
Stand fast therefore in the liberty wherewith Christ hath made us free, and be not entangled again with the yoke of bondage. It was for freedom that Christ set us free. Therefore, stand firm and refuse to submit again to the yoke of slavery.
The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.A thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy. I have come that they may have life, and have it in abundance.
