- I understand that man’s greatest happiness is to be glad and do well throughout his life. And when we eat and drink and find satisfaction in all our labors, this is a gift of God.

Rather, he will have the light of life.” - In the same way, faith by itself is dead if it does not have works.
- Whoever possesses the Son
possesses life;
whoever does not possess the Son of God
does not possess life. - I know how to live with little, and I know how to live with plenty. In any and all circumstances, I have learned the secret of being well fed and of going hungry, of having plenty and of being in need.
- Although we are human beings, we do not engage in battle according to human standards.
- And now, brethren, farewell. Mend your ways. Encourage one another. Be of one mind and live in peace. Then the God of love and peace will be with you.
- Listen, my son, and take my words to heart,
and the years of your life will be multiplied.
