- Restore us, Lord God Almighty;
make your face shine on us,
that we may be saved. - You, Lord, keep my lamp burning;
my God turns my darkness into light. - The precepts of the Lord are right,
giving joy to the heart.
The commands of the Lord are radiant,
giving light to the eyes. - But God has helped me to this very day; so I stand here and testify to small and great alike. I am saying nothing beyond what the prophets and Moses said would happen— that the Messiah would suffer and, as the first to rise from the dead, would bring the message of light to his own people and to the Gentiles.
- But whoever lives by the truth comes into the light, so that it may be seen plainly that what they have done has been done in the sight of God.
No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us. Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid or terrified because of them, for the Lord your God goes with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you.Next verse!With image
