- Restore us, Lord God Almighty;
make your face shine on us,
that we may be saved. - The precepts of the Lord are right,
giving joy to the heart.
The commands of the Lord are radiant,
giving light to the eyes. - But God has helped me to this very day; so I stand here and testify to small and great alike. I am saying nothing beyond what the prophets and Moses said would happen— that the Messiah would suffer and, as the first to rise from the dead, would bring the message of light to his own people and to the Gentiles.
- You, Lord, keep my lamp burning;
my God turns my darkness into light. - But whoever lives by the truth comes into the light, so that it may be seen plainly that what they have done has been done in the sight of God.
For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, and all are justified freely by his grace through the redemption that came by Christ Jesus. Be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving each other, just as in Christ God forgave you.Next verse!With image
