He answered them, “He who has two coats, let him give to him who has none. He who has food, let him do likewise.”And he would answer and say to them, “The one who has two tunics is to share with the one who has none; and the one who has food is to do likewise.”
The ransom of a man’s life is his riches, but the poor hear no threats.The ransom of a person’s life is his wealth, But the poor hears no rebuke.
According to their pasture, so were they filled; they were filled, and their heart was exalted. Therefore they have forgotten me.As they had their pasture, they became satisfied, And as they became satisfied, their heart became proud; Therefore they forgot Me.
