Then, when they had fasted and prayed and laid their hands on them, they sent them away.So after they had fasted and prayed, they placed their hands on them and sent them off.

They continued steadfastly in the apostles’ teaching and fellowship, in the breaking of bread, and prayer.They devoted themselves to the apostles’ teaching and to fellowship, to the breaking of bread and to prayer.

He took the five loaves and the two fish, and looking up to the sky, he blessed them, broke them, and gave them to the disciples to set before the multitude. They ate and were all filled. Now when all the people were baptized, Jesus also had been baptized and was praying. The sky was opened, and the Holy Spirit descended in a bodily form like a dove on him; and a voice came out of the sky, saying “You are my beloved Son. In you I am well pleased.”When all the people were being baptized, Jesus was baptized too. And as he was praying, heaven was opened and the Holy Spirit descended on him in bodily form like a dove. And a voice came from heaven: “You are my Son, whom I love; with you I am well pleased.”
He who turns away his ear from hearing the law, even his prayer is an abomination.If anyone turns a deaf ear to my instruction, even their prayers are detestable.
I tell you, keep asking, and it will be given you. Keep seeking, and you will find. Keep knocking, and it will be opened to you.So I say to you: Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you.
