- For as through the one man’s disobedience the many were made sinners, so also through the obedience of the One the many will be made righteous.
- As far as the east is from the west,

- For this is what the high and exalted One
Who lives forever, whose name is Holy, says:
“I dwell in a high and holy place,
And also with the contrite and lowly of spirit
In order to revive the spirit of the lowly
And to revive the heart of the contrite.” - Not everyone who says to Me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter the kingdom of heaven, but the one who does the will of My Father who is in heaven will enter.
- Salvation belongs to the Lord;
May Your blessing be upon Your people! Selah - For whoever wants to save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for My sake and the gospel’s will save it.
- Yet as for me, I know that my Redeemer lives,
And at the last, He will take His stand on the earth. - But you are a chosen people, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people for God’s own possession, so that you may proclaim the excellencies of Him who has called you out of darkness into His marvelous light.
- Corresponding to that, baptism now saves you—not the removal of dirt from the flesh, but an appeal to God for a good conscience—through the resurrection of Jesus Christ.
- For even the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give His life as a ransom for many.
- And looking at them, Jesus said to them, “With people this is impossible, but with God all things are possible.”
- But as for me, I will be on the watch for the Lord;
I will wait for the God of my salvation.
My God will hear me. - He alone is my rock and my salvation,
My stronghold; I will not be greatly shaken. - How delightful on the mountains
Are the feet of one who brings good news,
Who announces peace
And brings good news of happiness,
Who announces salvation,
And says to Zion, “Your God reigns!” - Lord God of armies, restore us;
Make Your face shine upon us, and we will be saved. - And He summoned the crowd together with His disciples, and said to them, “If anyone wants to come after Me, he must deny himself, take up his cross, and follow Me.”
- And like newborn babies, long for the pure milk of the word, so that by it you may grow in respect to salvation.
- I do not nullify the grace of God, for if righteousness comes through the Law, then Christ died needlessly.
