- For in it the righteousness of God is revealed from faith to faith; as it is written: “But the righteous one will live by faith.”
- He saved us, not on the basis of deeds which we did in righteousness, but in accordance with His mercy, by the washing of regeneration and renewing by the Holy Spirit.

And to revive the heart of the contrite.” - Salvation belongs to the Lord;
May Your blessing be upon Your people! Selah - For He rescued us from the domain of darkness, and transferred us to the kingdom of His beloved Son, in whom we have redemption, the forgiveness of sins.
- Yet as for me, I know that my Redeemer lives,
And at the last, He will take His stand on the earth. - But you are a chosen people, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people for God’s own possession, so that you may proclaim the excellencies of Him who has called you out of darkness into His marvelous light.
- For even the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give His life as a ransom for many.
- Not everyone who says to Me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter the kingdom of heaven, but the one who does the will of My Father who is in heaven will enter.
- Corresponding to that, baptism now saves you—not the removal of dirt from the flesh, but an appeal to God for a good conscience—through the resurrection of Jesus Christ.
- And looking at them, Jesus said to them, “With people this is impossible, but with God all things are possible.”
- But as for me, I will be on the watch for the Lord;
I will wait for the God of my salvation.
My God will hear me. - How delightful on the mountains
Are the feet of one who brings good news,
Who announces peace
And brings good news of happiness,
Who announces salvation,
And says to Zion, “Your God reigns!” - Lord God of armies, restore us;
Make Your face shine upon us, and we will be saved. - He alone is my rock and my salvation,
My stronghold; I will not be greatly shaken. - And like newborn babies, long for the pure milk of the word, so that by it you may grow in respect to salvation.
- And He summoned the crowd together with His disciples, and said to them, “If anyone wants to come after Me, he must deny himself, take up his cross, and follow Me.”
- Help us, God of our salvation, for the glory of Your name;
And save us and forgive our sins for the sake of Your name.
