- But you are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, His own special people, that you may proclaim the praises of Him who called you out of darkness into His marvelous light.
- Restore us, O Lord God of hosts;
Cause Your face to shine,
And we shall be saved! - Therefore I will look to the Lord;
I will wait for the God of my salvation;
My God will hear me. - He only is my rock and my salvation;
He is my defense;
I shall not be greatly moved. - When He had called the people to Himself, with His disciples also, He said to them, “Whoever desires to come after Me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow Me.”
