- Though the fig tree may not blossom,
Nor fruit be on the vines;
Though the labor of the olive may fail,
And the fields yield no food;
Though the flock may be cut off from the fold,
And there be no herd in the stalls—
Yet I will rejoice in the Lord,
I will joy in the God of my salvation. - For “whoever calls on the name of the Lord shall be saved.”
- Since you were precious in My sight,
You have been honored,
And I have loved you;
Therefore I will give men for you,
And people for your life. - In God is my salvation and my glory;
The rock of my strength,
And my refuge, is in God. - I am the door. If anyone enters by Me, he will be saved, and will go in and out and find pasture.
- For the Lord Himself will descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of an archangel, and with the trumpet of God. And the dead in Christ will rise first. Then we who are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And thus we shall always be with the Lord.
- For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.
- For the message of the cross is foolishness to those who are perishing, but to us who are being saved it is the power of God.
- But he who endures to the end shall be saved.

For You are my praise. - That is, that God was in Christ reconciling the world to Himself, not imputing their trespasses to them, and has committed to us the word of reconciliation.
- Moreover, brethren, I declare to you the gospel which I preached to you, which also you received and in which you stand, by which also you are saved, if you hold fast that word which I preached to you—unless you believed in vain.
- For whoever desires to save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for My sake will find it.
- The righteous cry out, and the Lord hears,
And delivers them out of all their troubles.
The Lord is near to those who have a broken heart,
And saves such as have a contrite spirit. - For our citizenship is in heaven, from which we also eagerly wait for the Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ.
- The thief does not come except to steal, and to kill, and to destroy. I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly.
- He who believes in the Son has everlasting life; and he who does not believe the Son shall not see life, but the wrath of God abides on him.
- Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to His mercy He saved us, through the washing of regeneration and renewing of the Holy Spirit.
- As far as the east is from the west,
So far has He removed our transgressions from us. - For I know that this will turn out for my deliverance through your prayer and the supply of the Spirit of Jesus Christ.
- For as by one man’s disobedience many were made sinners, so also by one Man’s obedience many will be made righteous.
