- The Lord makes poor and makes rich;
He brings low and lifts up. - Beloved, now we are children of God; and it has not yet been revealed what we shall be, but we know that when He is revealed, we shall be like Him, for we shall see Him as He is. And everyone who has this hope in Him purifies himself, just as He is pure.
- Now to Him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us, to Him be glory in the church by Christ Jesus to all generations, forever and ever. Amen.
- Therefore submit to God. Resist the devil and he will flee from you.
- Now may the God of patience and comfort grant you to be like-minded toward one another, according to Christ Jesus.
