- Now that I, your Lord and Teacher, have washed your feet, you also should wash one another’s feet.

This is the spirit of the antichrist, which you have heard is coming and even now is already in the world.
- Why do you look at the speck of sawdust in your brother’s eye and pay no attention to the plank in your own eye?

here is the conclusion of the matter:
Fear God and keep his commandments,
for this is the duty of all mankind. - You are my hiding place;
you will protect me from trouble
and surround me with songs of deliverance. - Then Peter began to speak: “I now realize how true it is that God does not show favoritism but accepts from every nation the one who fears him and does what is right.”
- Deep calls to deep
in the roar of your waterfalls;
all your waves and breakers
have swept over me. - So in everything, do to others what you would have them do to you, for this sums up the Law and the Prophets.
- Dear friends, let us love one another, for love comes from God. Everyone who loves has been born of God and knows God.
- In him we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, in accordance with the riches of God’s grace.
- The law of the Lord is perfect,
refreshing the soul.
The statutes of the Lord are trustworthy,
making wise the simple. - You intended to harm me, but God intended it for good to accomplish what is now being done, the saving of many lives.
- But since sexual immorality is occurring, each man should have sexual relations with his own wife, and each woman with her own husband.
- Therefore everyone who hears these words of mine and puts them into practice is like a wise man who built his house on the rock.
- And when you pray, do not keep on babbling like pagans, for they think they will be heard because of their many words.
- You will again have compassion on us;

and hurl all our iniquities into the depths of the sea. - Godly sorrow brings repentance that leads to salvation and leaves no regret, but worldly sorrow brings death.
- Peacemakers who sow in peace reap a harvest of righteousness.
- I urge you, brothers and sisters, to watch out for those who cause divisions and put obstacles in your way that are contrary to the teaching you have learned. Keep away from them.
You then, my son, be strong in the grace that is in Christ Jesus.
