- Anxiety in a man's heart weighs him down,
but a good word makes him glad. - Therefore let us not pass judgment on one another any longer, but rather decide never to put a stumbling block or hindrance in the way of a brother.
- For the Lord himself will descend from heaven with a cry of command, with the voice of an archangel, and with the sound of the trumpet of God. And the dead in Christ will rise first. Then we who are alive, who are left, will be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air, and so we will always be with the Lord.
- Continue steadfastly in prayer, being watchful in it with thanksgiving.
- And God is able to make all grace abound to you, so that having all sufficiency in all things at all times, you may abound in every good work.

but perverseness in it breaks the spirit. - Six days shall work be done, but on the seventh day is a Sabbath of solemn rest, a holy convocation. You shall do no work. It is a Sabbath to the Lord in all your dwelling places.
- Rejoice greatly, O daughter of Zion!
Shout aloud, O daughter of Jerusalem!
Behold, your king is coming to you;
righteous and having salvation is he,
humble and mounted on a donkey,
on a colt, the foal of a donkey. - Live as people who are free, not using your freedom as a cover-up for evil, but living as servants of God.
- Your testimonies are my heritage forever,
for they are the joy of my heart. - And he said, “What comes out of a person is what defiles him. For from within, out of the heart of man, come evil thoughts, sexual immorality, theft, murder, adultery, coveting, wickedness, deceit, sensuality, envy, slander, pride, foolishness. All these evil things come from within, and they defile a person.”
- By insolence comes nothing but strife,
but with those who take advice is wisdom. - With the merciful you show yourself merciful;
with the blameless man you show yourself blameless. - Whoever walks in integrity walks securely,
but he who makes his ways crooked will be found out. - Then the Lord God said, “It is not good that the man should be alone; I will make him a helper fit for him.”
- With his mouth the godless man would destroy his neighbor,
but by knowledge the righteous are delivered. - Be angry and do not sin; do not let the sun go down on your anger, and give no opportunity to the devil.
- The Lord is good,
a stronghold in the day of trouble;
he knows those who take refuge in him. - A good name is to be chosen rather than great riches,
and favor is better than silver or gold. - In this is love, not that we have loved God but that he loved us and sent his Son to be the propitiation for our sins.
- Though you have not seen him, you love him. Though you do not now see him, you believe in him and rejoice with joy that is inexpressible and filled with glory, obtaining the outcome of your faith, the salvation of your souls.
- So that by God's will I may come to you with joy and be refreshed in your company.
