- “Haven’t you read the Scriptures?” Jesus replied. “They record that from the beginning ‘God made them male and female.’” And he said, “‘This explains why a man leaves his father and mother and is joined to his wife, and the two are united into one.’ Since they are no longer two but one, let no one split apart what God has joined together.”
- There is no longer Jew or Gentile, slave or free, male and female. For you are all one in Christ Jesus.
- Finally, all of you should be of one mind. Sympathize with each other. Love each other as brothers and sisters. Be tenderhearted, and keep a humble attitude.
- And let the peace that comes from Christ rule in your hearts. For as members of one body you are called to live in peace. And always be thankful.
- But there is a great difference between Adam’s sin and God’s gracious gift. For the sin of this one man, Adam, brought death to many. But even greater is God’s wonderful grace and his gift of forgiveness to many through this other man, Jesus Christ.
- Share each other’s burdens, and in this way obey the law of Christ.
- Joyful is the person who finds wisdom,
the one who gains understanding. - This is my commandment: Love each other in the same way I have loved you.
- There is no greater love than to lay down one’s life for one’s friends.
- Confess your sins to each other and pray for each other so that you may be healed. The earnest prayer of a righteous person has great power and produces wonderful results.
- Jesus replied, “I assure you, no one can enter the Kingdom of God without being born of water and the Spirit.”
- And may the Lord make your love for one another and for all people grow and overflow, just as our love for you overflows.
- God alone, who gave the law, is the Judge. He alone has the power to save or to destroy. So what right do you have to judge your neighbor?
- Soon I will die, going the way of everything on earth. Deep in your hearts you know that every promise of the Lord your God has come true. Not a single one has failed!
- Therefore, accept each other just as Christ has accepted you so that God will be given glory.
- Can he walk on hot coals
and not blister his feet? - Better to be patient than powerful;
better to have self-control than to conquer a city. - Dear brothers and sisters, we can’t help but thank God for you, because your faith is flourishing and your love for one another is growing.
- Always be humble and gentle. Be patient with each other, making allowance for each other’s faults because of your love.
- All the believers were united in heart and mind. And they felt that what they owned was not their own, so they shared everything they had.
- Make allowance for each other’s faults, and forgive anyone who offends you. Remember, the Lord forgave you, so you must forgive others.
- So, what about eating meat that has been offered to idols? Well, we all know that an idol is not really a god and that there is only one God.
- On the day of Pentecost all the believers were meeting together in one place. Suddenly, there was a sound from heaven like the roaring of a mighty windstorm, and it filled the house where they were sitting.
- I tell you the truth, slaves are not greater than their master. Nor is the messenger more important than the one who sends the message.
- In the same way, there is more joy in heaven over one lost sinner who repents and returns to God than over ninety-nine others who are righteous and haven’t strayed away!
There is salvation in no one else! God has given no other name under heaven by which we must be saved.My future is in your hands.
Rescue me from those who hunt me down relentlessly. Why am I discouraged?

I will put my hope in God!
