What are mere mortals that you should think about them, human beings that you should care for them? Psalm 8:4	What is man that you are mindful of him, the son of man that you care for him? blessing humility grace
We are witnesses of these things and so is the Holy Spirit, who is given by God to those who obey him. Acts 5:32	And we are witnesses to these things, as is the Holy Spirit whom God has given to those who obey him. obedience Spirit receiving

The sinful nature wants to do evil, which is just the opposite of what the Spirit wants. And the Spirit gives us desires that are the opposite of what the sinful nature desires. These two forces are constantly fighting each other, so you are not free to carry out your good intentions. Galatians 5:17	For the desires of the flesh are opposed to the Spirit, and those of the Spirit are opposed to the flesh. And now, dear brothers and sisters, one final thing. Fix your thoughts on what is true, and honorable, and right, and pure, and lovely, and admirable. Think about things that are excellent and worthy of praise.
