Chinese (traditional)- But you, Yahweh, are a shield around me,
my glory, and the one who lifts up my head. - You are all beautiful, my love.
There is no spot in you. - Come to me, all you who labor and are heavily burdened, and I will give you rest.
- Aren’t five sparrows sold for two assaria coins? Not one of them is forgotten by God. But the very hairs of your head are all counted. Therefore don’t be afraid. You are of more value than many sparrows.
- You are the light of the world. A city located on a hill can’t be hidden.
- Blessed are the peacemakers,
for they shall be called children of God. - The Spirit himself testifies with our spirit that we are children of God.
- What then? Shall we sin because we are not under law but under grace? May it never be!
- Two are better than one, because they have a good reward for their labor.
- Blessed are those who keep his statutes,
who seek him with their whole heart. - But he said, “On the contrary, blessed are those who hear the word of God, and keep it.”
- Pleasant words are a honeycomb,
sweet to the soul, and health to the bones. - My soul, you have said to Yahweh, “You are my Lord.
Apart from you I have no good thing.” - Where could I go from your Spirit?
Or where could I flee from your presence?
If I ascend up into heaven, you are there.
If I make my bed in Sheol, behold, you are there! - By this everyone will know that you are my disciples, if you have love for one another.
- Aren’t two sparrows sold for an assarion coin? Not one of them falls to the ground apart from your Father’s will. But the very hairs of your head are all numbered. Therefore don’t be afraid. You are of more value than many sparrows.
- Finally, brothers, whatever things are true, whatever things are honorable, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report: if there is any virtue and if there is anything worthy of praise, think about these things.
- I, even I, am he who comforts you.
Who are you, that you are afraid of man who shall die,
and of the son of man who will be made as grass? - Yahweh’s precepts are right, rejoicing the heart.
Yahweh’s commandment is pure, enlightening the eyes. - “Come now, and let’s reason together,” says Yahweh:
“Though your sins are as scarlet, they shall be as white as snow.
Though they are red like crimson, they shall be as wool.” - The words of a gossip are like dainty morsels:
they go down into a person’s innermost parts. - For the eyes of the Lord are on the righteous,
and his ears open to their prayer;
but the face of the Lord is against those who do evil. - Don’t you know that you are God’s temple and that God’s Spirit lives in you?
- Why are you in despair, my soul?
Why are you disturbed within me?
Hope in God! For I shall still praise him,
the saving help of my countenance, and my God. - Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness,
for they shall be filled.
For sin will not have dominion over you, for you are not under law, but under grace. In this my Father is glorified, that you bear much fruit; and so you will be my disciples. Without faith it is impossible to be well pleasing to him, for he who comes to God must believe that he exists, and that he is a rewarder of those who seek him.Next verse! With image
