- Give heed to my reproof;
I will pour out my thoughts to you;
I will make my words known to you. - When a man is newly married, he shall not go out with the army or be charged with any related duty. He shall be free at home one year, to be happy with the wife whom he has married.

and at night his song is with me,
a prayer to the God of my life. - Pray in the Spirit at all times in every prayer and supplication. To that end keep alert and always persevere in supplication for all the saints.
- You show me the path of life.
In your presence there is fullness of joy;
in your right hand are pleasures forevermore. - So let us not grow weary in doing what is right, for we will reap at harvest time, if we do not give up.
- Do you think that I cannot appeal to my Father, and he will at once send me more than twelve legions of angels?
- The end of all things is near; therefore be serious and discipline yourselves for the sake of your prayers.
- No one has ever seen God; if we love one another, God lives in us, and his love is perfected in us.
- Look at the proud!
Their spirit is not right in them,
but the righteous live by their faith. - He is the reflection of God's glory and the exact imprint of God's very being, and he sustains all things by his powerful word. When he had made purification for sins, he sat down at the right hand of the Majesty on high.
- Being therefore exalted at the right hand of God, and having received from the Father the promise of the Holy Spirit, he has poured out this that you both see and hear.
- To make an apt answer is a joy to anyone,
and a word in season, how good it is! - About midnight Paul and Silas were praying and singing hymns to God, and the prisoners were listening to them.
- If it is possible, so far as it depends on you, live peaceably with all.
- Humble yourselves therefore under the mighty hand of God, so that he may exalt you in due time.
