- I have made a covenant with my eyes;
how then could I look upon a virgin? - Give heed to my reproof;
I will pour out my thoughts to you;

In your presence there is fullness of joy;
in your right hand are pleasures forevermore. - Pray in the Spirit at all times in every prayer and supplication. To that end keep alert and always persevere in supplication for all the saints.
- The end of all things is near; therefore be serious and discipline yourselves for the sake of your prayers.
- No one has ever seen God; if we love one another, God lives in us, and his love is perfected in us.
- If it is possible, so far as it depends on you, live peaceably with all.
- So let us not grow weary in doing what is right, for we will reap at harvest time, if we do not give up.
- He is the reflection of God's glory and the exact imprint of God's very being, and he sustains all things by his powerful word. When he had made purification for sins, he sat down at the right hand of the Majesty on high.
- Being therefore exalted at the right hand of God, and having received from the Father the promise of the Holy Spirit, he has poured out this that you both see and hear.

- Humble yourselves therefore under the mighty hand of God, so that he may exalt you in due time.
