Chinese (traditional)Bible Verses about 'Best'
- A perverse man sows strife,
And a whisperer separates the best of friends. - Be diligent to present yourself approved to God, a worker who does not need to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.
- Behold what manner of love the Father has bestowed on us, that we should be called children of God! Therefore the world does not know us, because it did not know Him.
- Honor the Lord with your possessions,
And with the firstfruits of all your increase. - He who covers a transgression seeks love,
But he who repeats a matter separates friends. - And though I bestow all my goods to feed the poor, and though I give my body to be burned, but have not love, it profits me nothing.
- I will instruct you and teach you in the way you should go;
I will guide you with My eye. - Let us therefore be diligent to enter that rest, lest anyone fall according to the same example of disobedience.
- See then that you walk circumspectly, not as fools but as wise, redeeming the time, because the days are evil.
- See that no one renders evil for evil to anyone, but always pursue what is good both for yourselves and for all.
- Nevertheless I tell you the truth. It is to your advantage that I go away; for if I do not go away, the Helper will not come to you; but if I depart, I will send Him to you.
- And He said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for My strength is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore most gladly I will rather boast in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me.
- Walk in wisdom toward those who are outside, redeeming the time. Let your speech always be with grace, seasoned with salt, that you may know how you ought to answer each one.
- Therefore God also has highly exalted Him and given Him the name which is above every name, that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of those in heaven, and of those on earth, and of those under the earth.
- Oh, how great is Your goodness,
Which You have laid up for those who fear You,
Which You have prepared for those who trust in You
In the presence of the sons of men! - Exhort bondservants to be obedient to their own masters, to be well pleasing in all things, not answering back, not pilfering, but showing all good fidelity, that they may adorn the doctrine of God our Savior in all things.
- For the Lord gives wisdom;
From His mouth come knowledge and understanding. - As His divine power has given to us all things that pertain to life and godliness, through the knowledge of Him who called us by glory and virtue.
- Do not envy the oppressor,
And choose none of his ways;
For the perverse person is an abomination to the Lord,
But His secret counsel is with the upright. - Father, I desire that they also whom You gave Me may be with Me where I am, that they may behold My glory which You have given Me; for You loved Me before the foundation of the world.
- Who is a God like You,
Pardoning iniquity
And passing over the transgression
of the remnant of His heritage?
He does not retain His anger forever,
Because He delights in mercy. - Who has saved us and called us with a holy calling, not according to our works, but according to His own purpose and grace which was given to us in Christ Jesus before time began.
- For I say, through the grace given to me, to everyone who is among you, not to think of himself more highly than he ought to think, but to think soberly, as God has dealt to each one a measure of faith.
- For I long to see you, that I may impart to you some spiritual gift, so that you may be established— that is, that I may be encouraged together with you by the mutual faith both of you and me.
He who is slow to anger is better than the mighty,
And he who rules his spirit than he who takes a city. For if they fall, one will lift up his companion.
But woe to him who is alone when he falls,
For he has no one to help him up.Next verse!With image
