Chinese (traditional)- Seek the Lord and his strength,
seek his face continually. - The Lord makes poor and makes rich,
he humbles and he also exalts. - I say to the Lord, “You are my Lord;
I have no good apart from you.” - I wait for the Lord in anxious expectation;
I place my hope in his word. - With the Lord to protect me I am not afraid.
What can mortals do to me? - A man may plan his own course,
but the Lord makes his steps secure. - Salvation comes from the Lord.
May your blessing be upon your people. Selah - For who is God except the Lord?
Who is a rock aside from our God? - Let us examine and test our ways
and return to the Lord. - Then it will come to pass
that everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved. - For whoever finds me finds life
and receives favor from the Lord. - For thus says the Lord to the house of Israel:
If you seek me, you will survive. - You shall observe my commandments and obey them. I am the Lord.
- The Lord is righteous in all his ways
and merciful in everything he does. - It is better to take refuge in the Lord
than to place your trust in mortals. - I sought the Lord, and he answered me;
he set me free from all my fears. - The Lord makes a man’s steps secure
when he approves of his conduct. - This is the day that the Lord has made;
let us exult and rejoice in it. - The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ be with your spirit.
- The Lord is a refuge for the oppressed,
a refuge in times of distress. - Seek the Lord while he still may be found;
call to him when he is close at hand. - Blessed be the Lord, day after day,
the God of our salvation, who carries our burden. Selah - For the word of the Lord is true,
and he is faithful in everything he does. - The reward of humility and fear of the Lord
is wealth, honor, and life. - Now this Lord is the Spirit, and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom.
Take delight in the Lord,
and he will grant you what your heart desires.However, the wisdom that comes from above is first of all pure, then peaceable, gentle, and considerate, full of mercy and good fruits, without any trace of partiality or hypocrisy. Finally, brethren, let your minds be filled with whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is just, whatever is pure, whatever is pleasing, whatever is commendable, whatever is excellent, whatever is worthy of praise.Next verse!With image
