Bible Verses about 'Can’t'
- Those who are in the flesh cannot please God.
- You are the light of the world. A city set on a hill cannot be hidden.
- For we brought nothing into the world, and we cannot take anything out of the world. But if we have food and clothing, with these we will be content.
- You desire and do not have, so you murder. You covet and cannot obtain, so you fight and quarrel. You do not have, because you do not ask.
- Jesus answered him, “Truly, truly, I say to you, unless one is born again he cannot see the kingdom of God.”
- The Almighty—we cannot find him;
he is great in power;
justice and abundant righteousness he will not violate. - Can a man hide himself in secret places so that I cannot see him? declares the Lord.
Do I not fill heaven and earth? declares the Lord. - Jesus answered, “Truly, truly, I say to you, unless one is born of water and the Spirit, he cannot enter the kingdom of God.”
- Let no one say when he is tempted, “I am being tempted by God,” for God cannot be tempted with evil, and he himself tempts no one.
- And he said to them, “Then are you also without understanding? Do you not see that whatever goes into a person from outside cannot defile him, since it enters not his heart but his stomach, and is expelled?” (Thus he declared all foods clean.)
- For the customs of the peoples are vanity.
A tree from the forest is cut down
and worked with an axe by the hands of a craftsman.
They decorate it with silver and gold;
they fasten it with hammer and nails
so that it cannot move.
Their idols are like scarecrows in a cucumber field,
and they cannot speak;
they have to be carried,
for they cannot walk.
Do not be afraid of them,
for they cannot do evil,
neither is it in them to do good. - As he came from his mother's womb he shall go again, naked as he came, and shall take nothing for his toil that he may carry away in his hand.
- No one can serve two masters, for either he will hate the one and love the other, or he will be devoted to the one and despise the other. You cannot serve God and money.
- We ought always to give thanks to God for you, brothers, as is right, because your faith is growing abundantly, and the love of every one of you for one another is increasing.
- For we do not have a high priest who is unable to sympathize with our weaknesses, but one who in every respect has been tempted as we are, yet without sin.
- He has made everything beautiful in its time. Also, he has put eternity into man's heart, yet so that he cannot find out what God has done from the beginning to the end.

what can man do to me?” - I can do all things through him who strengthens me.

nothing can make them stumble. - How can a young man keep his way pure?
By guarding it according to your word. - And Jesus said to him, “‘If you can’! All things are possible for one who believes.”

in God I trust; I shall not be afraid.

- What shall we say then? Are we to continue in sin that grace may abound? By no means! How can we who died to sin still live in it?

- Do you think that I cannot appeal to my Father, and he will at once send me more than twelve legions of angels?
- The heart is deceitful above all things,
and desperately sick;
who can understand it?

and test the mind,
to give every man according to his ways,
according to the fruit of his deeds.” - If anyone says, “I love God,” and hates his brother, he is a liar; for he who does not love his brother whom he has seen cannot love God whom he has not seen.
- Can a woman forget her nursing child,
that she should have no compassion on the son of her womb?
Even these may forget,
yet I will not forget you.
Behold, I have engraved you on the palms of my hands;
your walls are continually before me. - Stand therefore, having fastened on the belt of truth, and having put on the breastplate of righteousness, and, as shoes for your feet, having put on the readiness given by the gospel of peace. In all circumstances take up the shield of faith, with which you can extinguish all the flaming darts of the evil one.
