Come and see (2/4)

Do not think that I came to destroy the Law or the Prophets. I did not come to destroy but to fulfill.Do not think that I have come to abolish the law or the prophets; I have come not to abolish but to fulfill.
Jesus answered and said to him, “If anyone loves Me, he will keep My word; and My Father will love him, and We will come to him and make Our home with him.”Jesus answered him, “Those who love me will keep my word, and my Father will love them, and we will come to them and make our home with them.”
I have not come to call the righteous, but sinners, to repentance.I have come to call not the righteous but sinners to repentance.
Do not think that I came to bring peace on earth. I did not come to bring peace but a sword.Do not think that I have come to bring peace to the earth; I have not come to bring peace, but a sword.
“I am the Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning and the End,” says the Lord, “who is and who was and who is to come, the Almighty.”“I am the Alpha and the Omega,” says the Lord God, who is and who was and who is to come, the Almighty.
Behold, He is coming with clouds, and every eye will see Him, even they who pierced Him. And all the tribes of the earth will mourn because of Him. Even so, Amen.Look! He is coming with the clouds; every eye will see him, even those who pierced him; and on his account all the tribes of the earth will wail. So it is to be. Amen.
The thief does not come except to steal, and to kill, and to destroy. I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly.The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy. I came that they may have life, and have it abundantly.

On the last day, that great day of the feast, Jesus stood and cried out, saying, “If anyone thirsts, let him come to Me and drink.”On the last day of the festival, the great day, while Jesus was standing there, he cried out, “Let anyone who is thirsty come to me.”
But Jesus said, “Let the little children come to Me, and do not forbid them; for of such is the kingdom of heaven.”But Jesus said, “Let the little children come to me, and do not stop them; for it is to such as these that the kingdom of heaven belongs.”
He who testifies to these things says, “Surely I am coming quickly.” Amen. Even so, come, Lord Jesus!The one who testifies to these things says, “Surely I am coming soon.” Amen. Come, Lord Jesus!
I would have lost heart, unless I had believed That I would see the goodness of the Lord In the land of the living.I believe that I shall see the goodness of the Lord in the land of the living.
Nevertheless let each one of you in particular so love his own wife as himself, and let the wife see that she respects her husband.Each of you, however, should love his wife as himself, and a wife should respect her husband.
And it shall come to pass That whoever calls on the name of the Lord Shall be saved.Then everyone who calls on the name of the Lord shall be saved.
Behold, I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears My voice and opens the door, I will come in to him and dine with him, and he with Me.Listen! I am standing at the door, knocking; if you hear my voice and open the door, I will come in to you and eat with you, and you with me.
And when He has come, He will convict the world of sin, and of righteousness, and of judgment.And when he comes, he will prove the world wrong about sin and righteousness and judgment.
For I long to see you, that I may impart to you some spiritual gift, so that you may be established— that is, that I may be encouraged together with you by the mutual faith both of you and me.For I am longing to see you so that I may share with you some spiritual gift to strengthen you— or rather so that we may be mutually encouraged by each other's faith, both yours and mine.
No one, when he has lit a lamp, covers it with a vessel or puts it under a bed, but sets it on a lampstand, that those who enter may see the light.No one after lighting a lamp hides it under a jar, or puts it under a bed, but puts it on a lampstand, so that those who enter may see the light.
Whom having not seen you love. Though now you do not see Him, yet believing, you rejoice with joy inexpressible and full of glory, receiving the end of your faith—the salvation of your souls.Although you have not seen him, you love him; and even though you do not see him now, you believe in him and rejoice with an indescribable and glorious joy, for you are receiving the outcome of your faith, the salvation of your souls.
Beware of false prophets, who come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly they are ravenous wolves.Beware of false prophets, who come to you in sheep's clothing but inwardly are ravenous wolves.
For bodily exercise profits a little, but godliness is profitable for all things, having promise of the life that now is and of that which is to come.For, while physical training is of some value, godliness is valuable in every way, holding promise for both the present life and the life to come.

And let us consider one another in order to stir up love and good works, not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as is the manner of some, but exhorting one another, and so much the more as you see the Day approaching.And let us consider how to provoke one another to love and good deeds, not neglecting to meet together, as is the habit of some, but encouraging one another, and all the more as you see the Day approaching.
