- Hatred stirreth up strifes:
but love covereth all sins. - And above all things have fervent charity among yourselves: for charity shall cover the multitude of sins.
- He that covereth a transgression seeketh love;
but he that repeateth a matter separateth very friends. - No man, when he hath lighted a candle, covereth it with a vessel, or putteth it under a bed; but setteth it on a candlestick, that they which enter in may see the light.
- Blessings are upon the head of the just:
but violence covereth the mouth of the wicked. - A fool's wrath is presently known:
but a prudent man covereth shame. - He that covereth his sins shall not prosper:
but whoso confesseth and forsaketh them shall have mercy. - He shall cover thee with his feathers,
and under his wings shalt thou trust:
his truth shall be thy shield and buckler. - Blessed is he
whose transgression is forgiven,
whose sin is covered. - For there is nothing covered, that shall not be revealed; neither hid, that shall not be known.
- For thou hast possessed my reins:
thou hast covered me in my mother's womb.
I will praise thee; for I am fearfully and wonderfully made:
marvellous are thy works;
and that my soul knoweth right well. - I will greatly rejoice in the Lord,
my soul shall be joyful in my God;
for he hath clothed me with the garments of salvation,
he hath covered me with the robe of righteousness,
as a bridegroom decketh himself with ornaments,
and as a bride adorneth herself with her jewels.
And above all these things put on charity, which is the bond of perfectness. Is any sick among you? let him call for the elders of the church; and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord: And the prayer of faith shall save the sick, and the Lord shall raise him up; and if he have committed sins, they shall be forgiven him.Next verse!With image
