where does my help come from?
My help comes from the Lord,
the Maker of heaven and earth. - For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.
- For we are God’s handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do.
- So God created mankind in his own image,
in the image of God he created them;
male and female he created them. - By the word of the Lord the heavens were made,
their starry host by the breath of his mouth. - Do you not know?

The Lord is the everlasting God,
the Creator of the ends of the earth.
He will not grow tired or weary,
and his understanding no one can fathom. - Father, I want those you have given me to be with me where I am, and to see my glory, the glory you have given me because you loved me before the creation of the world.

‘The potter has no hands’? - The Lord God said, “It is not good for the man to be alone. I will make a helper suitable for him.”
- Come, let us bow down in worship,
let us kneel before the Lord our Maker. - Yet for us there is but one God, the Father, from whom all things came and for whom we live; and there is but one Lord, Jesus Christ, through whom all things came and through whom we live.
- Remember your Creator
in the days of your youth,
before the days of trouble come
and the years approach when you will say,
“I find no pleasure in them”. - Then the Lord God made a woman from the rib he had taken out of the man, and he brought her to the man. The man said, “This is now bone of my bones and flesh of my flesh; she shall be called ‘woman,’ for she was taken out of man.” That is why a man leaves his father and mother and is united to his wife, and they become one flesh.
- And God said, “Let there be light,” and there was light.
- God blessed them and said to them, “Be fruitful and increase in number; fill the earth and subdue it. Rule over the fish in the sea and the birds in the sky and over every living creature that moves on the ground.”
- Yet you, Lord, are our Father.
We are the clay, you are the potter;

- And the Lord God said, “The man has now become like one of us, knowing good and evil. He must not be allowed to reach out his hand and take also from the tree of life and eat, and live forever.” So the Lord God banished him from the Garden of Eden to work the ground from which he had been taken.
