Bible Verses about 'Creation'

  • For the creation waits in eager expectation for the children of God to be revealed.
  • He said to them, “Go into all the world and preach the gospel to all creation.”
  • Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, the new creation has come: The old has gone, the new is here!
  • For since the creation of the world God’s invisible qualities—his eternal power and divine nature—have been clearly seen, being understood from what has been made, so that people are without excuse.
  • Then God blessed the seventh day and made it holy, because on it he rested from all the work of creating that he had done.
  • But at the beginning of creation God ‘made them male and female.’ ‘For this reason a man will leave his father and mother and be united to his wife, and the two will become one flesh.’ So they are no longer two, but one flesh. Therefore what God has joined together, let no one separate.
  • In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth. Now the earth was formless and empty, darkness was over the surface of the deep, and the Spirit of God was hovering over the waters.
  • For you created my inmost being;
    you knit me together in my mother’s womb.

  • For we are God’s handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do.
  • So God created mankind in his own image,
    in the image of God he created them;
    male and female he created them.

    let us rejoice today and be glad.

  • Woe to those who quarrel with their Maker,
    those who are nothing but potsherds

    Does the clay say to the potter,
    ‘What are you making?’
    Does your work say,
    ‘The potter has no hands’?
