- “Now, therefore,” says the Lord,
“Turn to Me with all your heart,
With fasting, with weeping, and with mourning.” - Abba, Father, all things are possible for You. Take this cup away from Me; nevertheless, not what I will, but what You will.
- But I will sing of Your power;
Yes, I will sing aloud of Your mercy in the morning;
For You have been my defense
And refuge in the day of my trouble. - Not everyone who says to Me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ shall enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father in heaven.
- I have made a covenant with my eyes;
Why then should I look upon a young woman? - So shall My word be that goes forth from My mouth;
It shall not return to Me void,
But it shall accomplish what I please,
And it shall prosper in the thing for which I sent it. - ‘And you shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, with all your mind, and with all your strength.’ This is the first commandment.
- That if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved.
- But from there you will seek the Lord your God, and you will find Him if you seek Him with all your heart and with all your soul.
- Only fear the Lord, and serve Him in truth with all your heart; for consider what great things He has done for you.
- Set me as a seal upon your heart,
As a seal upon your arm;
For love is as strong as death,
Jealousy as cruel as the grave;
Its flames are flames of fire,
A most vehement flame. - You should know in your heart that as a man chastens his son, so the Lord your God chastens you.
- Let not mercy and truth forsake you;
Bind them around your neck,
Write them on the tablet of your heart,
And so find favor and high esteem
In the sight of God and man. - He who believes in Me, as the Scripture has said, out of his heart will flow rivers of living water.
- “Now therefore,” he said, “put away the foreign gods which are among you, and incline your heart to the Lord God of Israel.”
- A man’s heart plans his way,
But the Lord directs his steps. - But Peter said, “Ananias, why has Satan filled your heart to lie to the Holy Spirit and keep back part of the price of the land for yourself? While it remained, was it not your own? And after it was sold, was it not in your own control? Why have you conceived this thing in your heart? You have not lied to men but to God.”
- Every way of a man is right in his own eyes,
But the Lord weighs the hearts. - The Lord will command His lovingkindness in the daytime,
And in the night His song shall be with me—
A prayer to the God of my life. - There are many plans in a man’s heart,
Nevertheless the Lord’s counsel—that will stand. - Therefore remove sorrow from your heart,
And put away evil from your flesh,
For childhood and youth are vanity. - When they had pasture, they were filled;
They were filled and their heart was exalted;
Therefore they forgot Me. - For a day in Your courts is better than a thousand.
I would rather be a doorkeeper in the house of my God
Than dwell in the tents of wickedness. - Let not your heart be troubled; you believe in God, believe also in Me.
- But as it is written:
“Eye has not seen, nor ear heard,
Nor have entered into the heart of man
The things which God has prepared for those who love Him.”
