FOR IT IS GOD WHO WORKS IN YOU TO AND WILL (3/4)

And these words which I command you today shall be in your heart. You shall teach them diligently to your children, and shall talk of them when you sit in your house, when you walk by the way, when you lie down, and when you rise up.These words, which I am commanding you today, shall be on your heart. And you shall repeat them diligently to your sons and speak of them when you sit in your house, when you walk on the road, when you lie down, and when you get up.
For the message of the cross is foolishness to those who are perishing, but to us who are being saved it is the power of God.For the word of the cross is foolishness to those who are perishing, but to us who are being saved it is the power of God.
And if you do good to those who do good to you, what credit is that to you? For even sinners do the same.And if you do good to those who do good to you, what credit is that to you? For even sinners do the same.
And we have known and believed the love that God has for us. God is love, and he who abides in love abides in God, and God in him.We have come to know and have believed the love which God has for us. God is love, and the one who remains in love remains in God, and God remains in him.
But without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him.And without faith it is impossible to please Him, for the one who comes to God must believe that He exists, and that He proves to be One who rewards those who seek Him.
It is better to trust in the Lord Than to put confidence in man.It is better to take refuge in the Lord Than to trust in people.
Behold, how good and how pleasant it is For brethren to dwell together in unity!Behold, how good and how pleasant it is For brothers to live together in unity!
He who walks uprightly, And works righteousness, And speaks the truth in his heart; He who does not backbite with his tongue, Nor does evil to his neighbor, Nor does he take up a reproach against his friend.One who walks with integrity, practices righteousness, And speaks truth in his heart. He does not slander with his tongue, Nor do evil to his neighbor, Nor bring shame on his friend.
And those who know Your name will put their trust in You; For You, Lord, have not forsaken those who seek You.And those who know Your name will put their trust in You, For You, Lord, have not abandoned those who seek You.

But as He who called you is holy, you also be holy in all your conduct, because it is written, “Be holy, for I am holy.”But like the Holy One who called you, be holy yourselves also in all your behavior; because it is written: “You shall be holy, for I am holy.”
Do not withhold good from those to whom it is due, When it is in the power of your hand to do so.Do not withhold good from those to whom it is due, When it is in your power to do it.
But sanctify the Lord God in your hearts, and always be ready to give a defense to everyone who asks you a reason for the hope that is in you, with meekness and fear.But sanctify Christ as Lord in your hearts, always being ready to make a defense to everyone who asks you to give an account for the hope that is in you, but with gentleness and respect.
I will praise You, O Lord, with my whole heart; I will tell of all Your marvelous works.I will give thanks to the Lord with all my heart; I will tell of all Your wonders.

But I say to you who hear: Love your enemies, do good to those who hate you, bless those who curse you, and pray for those who spitefully use you.But I say to you who hear, love your enemies, do good to those who hate you, bless those who curse you, pray for those who are abusive to you.
It is a snare for a man to devote rashly something as holy, And afterward to reconsider his vows.It is a trap for a person to say carelessly, “It is holy!” And after the vows to make inquiry.

And He took bread, gave thanks and broke it, and gave it to them, saying, “This is My body which is given for you; do this in remembrance of Me.”And when He had taken some bread and given thanks, He broke it and gave it to them, saying, “This is My body, which is being given for you; do this in remembrance of Me.”
