- As you do not know what is the way of the wind,
Or how the bones grow in the womb of her who is with child,
So you do not know the works of God who makes everything. - Do not withhold good from those to whom it is due,
When it is in the power of your hand to do so. - The Lord is righteous in all His ways,
Gracious in all His works. - For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand that we should walk in them.
- For every house is built by someone, but He who built all things is God.
- It is better to trust in the Lord
Than to put confidence in man. - Behold, how good and how pleasant it is
For brethren to dwell together in unity! - And I saw the dead, small and great, standing before God, and books were opened. And another book was opened, which is the Book of Life. And the dead were judged according to their works, by the things which were written in the books. The sea gave up the dead who were in it, and Death and Hades delivered up the dead who were in them. And they were judged, each one according to his works.

- But “he who glories, let him glory in the Lord.” For not he who commends himself is approved, but whom the Lord commends.

- But as He who called you is holy, you also be holy in all your conduct, because it is written, “Be holy, for I am holy.”
- Do you not know that you are the temple of God and that the Spirit of God dwells in you?
- But if we hope for what we do not see, we eagerly wait for it with perseverance.
- For You formed my inward parts;
You covered me in my mother’s womb.
I will praise You, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made;
Marvelous are Your works,
And that my soul knows very well. - He who sins is of the devil, for the devil has sinned from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that He might destroy the works of the devil.
- You are of God, little children, and have overcome them, because He who is in you is greater than he who is in the world.
- Lead me in Your truth and teach me,
For You are the God of my salvation;
On You I wait all the day. - Let Your mercy, O Lord, be upon us,
Just as we hope in You. - Now to Him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us, to Him be glory in the church by Christ Jesus to all generations, forever and ever. Amen.
- Commit your works to the Lord,
And your thoughts will be established. - You are my hiding place and my shield;
I hope in Your word. - And those who know Your name will put their trust in You;
For You, Lord, have not forsaken those who seek You. - And these words which I command you today shall be in your heart. You shall teach them diligently to your children, and shall talk of them when you sit in your house, when you walk by the way, when you lie down, and when you rise up.
- You will keep him in perfect peace,
Whose mind is stayed on You,
Because he trusts in You.
