| For God is Spirit, so those who worship him must worship in spirit and in truth. | God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth. |
| Always be joyful. Never stop praying. Be thankful in all circumstances, for this is God’s will for you who belong to Christ Jesus. | Rejoice evermore. Pray without ceasing. In every thing give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you. |
| If you cling to your life, you will lose it; but if you give up your life for me, you will find it. | He that findeth his life shall lose it: and he that loseth his life for my sake shall find it. |
| God will make this happen, for he who calls you is faithful. | Faithful is he that calleth you, who also will do it. |
