- Jesus answered and said unto them, This is the work of God, that ye believe on him whom he hath sent.
- Blessed are they which are persecuted for righteousness' sake:
for theirs is the kingdom of heaven. - Knowing this, that the trying of your faith worketh patience.
- My flesh and my heart faileth:
but God is the strength of my heart,
and my portion for ever. - Behold, happy is the man whom God correcteth:
therefore despise not thou the chastening of the Almighty. - But speaking the truth in love, may grow up into him in all things, which is the head, even Christ.
- Happy is the man that findeth wisdom,
and the man that getteth understanding. - Let no man therefore judge you in meat, or in drink, or in respect of an holyday, or of the new moon, or of the sabbath days: Which are a shadow of things to come; but the body is of Christ.
- And he is the propitiation for our sins: and not for ours only, but also for the sins of the whole world.
- Even so faith, if it hath not works, is dead, being alone.
- This then is the message which we have heard of him, and declare unto you, that God is light, and in him is no darkness at all.
- Behold, God is mine helper:
the Lord is with them that uphold my soul. - Likewise also the cup after supper, saying, This cup is the new testament in my blood, which is shed for you.

- For the preaching of the cross is to them that perish foolishness; but unto us which are saved it is the power of God.
- The Lord is my light and my salvation;
whom shall I fear?
the Lord is the strength of my life;
of whom shall I be afraid? - And above all these things put on charity, which is the bond of perfectness.
- Therefore all things whatsoever ye would that men should do to you, do ye even so to them: for this is the law and the prophets.
- Watch ye, stand fast in the faith, quit you like men, be strong.
- The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom:
a good understanding have all they that do his commandments:
his praise endureth for ever. - And he is the head of the body, the church: who is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead; that in all things he might have the preeminence.
- So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.
- And now abideth faith, hope, charity, these three; but the greatest of these is charity.
- And this is the confidence that we have in him, that, if we ask any thing according to his will, he heareth us.
For the love of money is the root of all evil: which while some coveted after, they have erred from the faith, and pierced themselves through with many sorrows.The Lord shall preserve thee from all evil:
he shall preserve thy soul.
The Lord shall preserve thy going out and thy coming in
from this time forth, and even for evermore. He giveth power to the faint;
and to them that have no might he increaseth strength.Next verse!With image
