Chinese (traditional)Bible Verses about 'Feet'
- Now that I, your Lord and Teacher, have washed your feet, you also should wash one another’s feet.
- Your word is a lamp for my feet,
a light on my path. - Can a man walk on hot coals
without his feet being scorched? - The Sovereign Lord is my strength;
he makes my feet like the feet of a deer,
he enables me to tread on the heights. - Give careful thought to the paths for your feet
and be steadfast in all your ways. - The God of peace will soon crush Satan under your feet. The grace of our Lord Jesus be with you.
- The Lord is slow to anger but great in power;
the Lord will not leave the guilty unpunished.
His way is in the whirlwind and the storm,
and clouds are the dust of his feet. - How beautiful on the mountains
are the feet of those who bring good news,
who proclaim peace,
who bring good tidings,
who proclaim salvation,
who say to Zion,
“Your God reigns!” - You make your saving help my shield,
and your right hand sustains me;
your help has made me great.
You provide a broad path for my feet,
so that my ankles do not give way. - Stand firm then, with the belt of truth buckled around your waist, with the breastplate of righteousness in place, and with your feet fitted with the readiness that comes from the gospel of peace. In addition to all this, take up the shield of faith, with which you can extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil one.
- But he knows the way that I take;
when he has tested me, I will come forth as gold.
My feet have closely followed his steps;
I have kept to his way without turning aside. - Do not turn to the right or the left;
keep your foot from evil. - You are the salt of the earth. But if the salt loses its saltiness, how can it be made salty again? It is no longer good for anything, except to be thrown out and trampled underfoot.
- You will again have compassion on us;
you will tread our sins underfoot
and hurl all our iniquities into the depths of the sea. - “If you keep your feet from breaking the Sabbath
and from doing as you please on my holy day,
if you call the Sabbath a delight
and the Lord’s holy day honorable,
and if you honor it by not going your own way
and not doing as you please or speaking idle words,
then you will find your joy in the Lord,
and I will cause you to ride in triumph on the heights of the land
and to feast on the inheritance of your father Jacob.”
For the mouth of the Lord has spoken. - If either of them falls down,
one can help the other up.
But pity anyone who falls
and has no one to help them up. - But I tell you, do not swear an oath at all: either by heaven, for it is God’s throne; or by the earth, for it is his footstool; or by Jerusalem, for it is the city of the Great King.
Who is he, this King of glory?
The Lord Almighty—
he is the King of glory. About midnight Paul and Silas were praying and singing hymns to God, and the other prisoners were listening to them.Next verse!With image
