- Let the morning bring me word of your unfailing love,
for I have put my trust in you.
Show me the way I should go,
for to you I entrust my life. - Even though I walk
through the darkest valley,
I will fear no evil,
for you are with me;
your rod and your staff,
they comfort me. - When anxiety was great within me,
your consolation brought me joy. - The Spirit of the Lord is on me,
because he has anointed me
to proclaim good news to the poor.
He has sent me to proclaim freedom for the prisoners
and recovery of sight for the blind,
to set the oppressed free. - For those who find me find life
and receive favor from the Lord. - I revealed myself to those who did not ask for me;
I was found by those who did not seek me.
To a nation that did not call on my name,
I said, ‘Here am I, here am I.’ - When I said, “My foot is slipping,”
your unfailing love, Lord, supported me. - Let your face shine on your servant;
save me in your unfailing love. - Do not let your hearts be troubled. You believe in God; believe also in me.
- Whoever eats my flesh and drinks my blood remains in me, and I in them.
- “Come, follow me,” Jesus said, “and I will send you out to fish for people.”
- The Spirit of the Sovereign Lord is on me,
because the Lord has anointed me
to proclaim good news to the poor.
He has sent me to bind up the brokenhearted,
to proclaim freedom for the captives
and release from darkness for the prisoners. - Jesus answered, “My teaching is not my own. It comes from the one who sent me.”
- I seek you with all my heart;
do not let me stray from your commands. - I am the Lord, the God of all mankind. Is anything too hard for me?
- Then he said to them all: “Whoever wants to be my disciple must deny themselves and take up their cross daily and follow me.”
- Whoever has my commands and keeps them is the one who loves me. The one who loves me will be loved by my Father, and I too will love them and show myself to them.
- But you, Lord, are a shield around me,
my glory, the One who lifts my head high. - Whatever you have learned or received or heard from me, or seen in me—put it into practice. And the God of peace will be with you.
- Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.
- In peace I will lie down and sleep,
for you alone, Lord,
make me dwell in safety. - Again Jesus said, “Peace be with you! As the Father has sent me, I am sending you.”
- I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith. Now there is in store for me the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous Judge, will award to me on that day—and not only to me, but also to all who have longed for his appearing.
- Jesus said to her, “I am the resurrection and the life. The one who believes in me will live, even though they die; and whoever lives by believing in me will never die. Do you believe this?”
- I thank and praise you, God of my ancestors:
You have given me wisdom and power,
you have made known to me what we asked of you,
you have made known to us the dream of the king.
And I myself did not know him, but the one who sent me to baptize with water told me, ‘The man on whom you see the Spirit come down and remain is the one who will baptize with the Holy Spirit.’Worship the Lord your God, and his blessing will be on your food and water. I will take away sickness from among you. Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid or terrified because of them, for the Lord your God goes with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you.Next verse!With image
