- Watch ye, stand fast in the faith, quit you like men, be strong.
- Stand fast therefore in the liberty wherewith Christ hath made us free, and be not entangled again with the yoke of bondage.
- For we are made partakers of Christ, if we hold the beginning of our confidence stedfast unto the end.
- The steps of a good man are ordered by the Lord:
and he delighteth in his way. - Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.
- Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.
- The heavens declare the glory of God;
and the firmament sheweth his handywork.
Day unto day uttereth speech,
and night unto night sheweth knowledge. - Therefore, my beloved brethren, be ye stedfast, unmoveable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, forasmuch as ye know that your labour is not in vain in the Lord.
- But he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved.
- Moreover, brethren, I declare unto you the gospel which I preached unto you, which also ye have received, and wherein ye stand; By which also ye are saved, if ye keep in memory what I preached unto you, unless ye have believed in vain.
- Let us hold fast the profession of our faith without wavering; (for he is faithful that promised;)
- But the God of all grace, who hath called us unto his eternal glory by Christ Jesus, after that ye have suffered a while, make you perfect, stablish, strengthen, settle you.
- Stand therefore, having your loins girt about with truth, and having on the breastplate of righteousness; And your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace; Above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked.
- Teach me to do thy will;
for thou art my God:
thy spirit is good;
lead me into the land of uprightness. - Behold, I come quickly: hold that fast which thou hast, that no man take thy crown.
- Prove all things; hold fast that which is good. Abstain from all appearance of evil.
- Do all things without murmurings and disputings: That ye may be blameless and harmless, the sons of God, without rebuke, in the midst of a crooked and perverse nation, among whom ye shine as lights in the world; Holding forth the word of life.
- Wherefore the rather, brethren, give diligence to make your calling and election sure: for if ye do these things, ye shall never fall: For so an entrance shall be ministered unto you abundantly into the everlasting kingdom of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ.
- Know therefore this day, and consider it in thine heart, that the Lord he is God in heaven above, and upon the earth beneath: there is none else.
- But many that are first shall be last; and the last shall be first.
- Honour the Lord with thy substance,
and with the firstfruits of all thine increase. - We love him, because he first loved us.
- Of his own will begat he us with the word of truth, that we should be a kind of firstfruits of his creatures.
- But take diligent heed to do the commandment and the law, which Moses the servant of the Lord charged you, to love the Lord your God, and to walk in all his ways, and to keep his commandments, and to cleave unto him, and to serve him with all your heart and with all your soul.
- And he is the head of the body, the church: who is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead; that in all things he might have the preeminence.
But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.As in water face answereth to face,
so the heart of man to man. Trust in the Lord with all thine heart;
and lean not unto thine own understanding.
In all thy ways acknowledge him,
and he shall direct thy paths.Next verse!With image
