But the God of all grace, who hath called us unto his eternal glory by Christ Jesus, after that ye have suffered a while, make you perfect, stablish, strengthen, settle you.But may the God of all grace, who called you to his eternal glory by Christ Jesus, after you have suffered a little while, perfect, establish, strengthen, and settle you.
Teach me to do thy will; for thou art my God: thy spirit is good; lead me into the land of uprightness.Teach me to do your will, for you are my God. Your Spirit is good. Lead me in the land of uprightness.
Let us hold fast the profession of our faith without wavering; (for he is faithful that promised;)Let’s hold fast the confession of our hope without wavering; for he who promised is faithful.
Stand therefore, having your loins girt about with truth, and having on the breastplate of righteousness; And your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace; Above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked.Stand therefore, having the utility belt of truth buckled around your waist, and having put on the breastplate of righteousness, and having fitted your feet with the preparation of the Good News of peace, above all, taking up the shield of faith, with which you will be able to quench all the fiery darts of the evil one.
Wherefore the rather, brethren, give diligence to make your calling and election sure: for if ye do these things, ye shall never fall: For so an entrance shall be ministered unto you abundantly into the everlasting kingdom of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ.Therefore, brothers, be more diligent to make your calling and election sure. For if you do these things, you will never stumble. For thus you will be richly supplied with the entrance into the eternal Kingdom of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.
Behold, I come quickly: hold that fast which thou hast, that no man take thy crown.I am coming quickly! Hold firmly that which you have, so that no one takes your crown.
Prove all things; hold fast that which is good. Abstain from all appearance of evil.Test all things, and hold firmly that which is good. Abstain from every form of evil.
Know therefore this day, and consider it in thine heart, that the Lord he is God in heaven above, and upon the earth beneath: there is none else.Know therefore today, and take it to heart, that Yahweh himself is God in heaven above and on the earth beneath. There is no one else.
Do all things without murmurings and disputings: That ye may be blameless and harmless, the sons of God, without rebuke, in the midst of a crooked and perverse nation, among whom ye shine as lights in the world; Holding forth the word of life.Do all things without complaining and arguing, that you may become blameless and harmless, children of God without defect in the middle of a crooked and perverse generation, among whom you are seen as lights in the world, holding up the word of life.
But many that are first shall be last; and the last shall be first.But many will be last who are first, and first who are last.
Honour the Lord with thy substance, and with the firstfruits of all thine increase.Honor Yahweh with your substance, with the first fruits of all your increase.
We love him, because he first loved us.We love him, because he first loved us.
Of his own will begat he us with the word of truth, that we should be a kind of firstfruits of his creatures.Of his own will he gave birth to us by the word of truth, that we should be a kind of first fruits of his creatures.
But take diligent heed to do the commandment and the law, which Moses the servant of the Lord charged you, to love the Lord your God, and to walk in all his ways, and to keep his commandments, and to cleave unto him, and to serve him with all your heart and with all your soul.Only take diligent heed to do the commandment and the law which Moses the servant of Yahweh commanded you, to love Yahweh your God, to walk in all his ways, to keep his commandments, to hold fast to him, and to serve him with all your heart and with all your soul.

But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.But seek first God’s Kingdom and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well.
