- Therefore whoever hears these sayings of Mine, and does them, I will liken him to a wise man who built his house on the rock.

Because he trusts in You. - Behold what manner of love the Father has bestowed on us, that we should be called children of God! Therefore the world does not know us, because it did not know Him.

But violence covers the mouth of the wicked. - Return and tell Hezekiah the leader of My people, ‘Thus says the Lord, the God of David your father: “I have heard your prayer, I have seen your tears; surely I will heal you. On the third day you shall go up to the house of the Lord.”’
- If anyone defiles the temple of God, God will destroy him. For the temple of God is holy, which temple you are.

- If it is possible, as much as depends on you, live peaceably with all men.

Shout, O daughter of Jerusalem!
Behold, your King is coming to you;
He is just and having salvation,

A colt, the foal of a donkey. - I called on the Lord in distress;
The Lord answered me and set me in a broad place. - Who Himself bore our sins in His own body on the tree, that we, having died to sins, might live for righteousness—by whose stripes you were healed.
- Teach me to do Your will,
For You are my God;
Your Spirit is good.
Lead me in the land of uprightness. - No one, when he has lit a lamp, covers it with a vessel or puts it under a bed, but sets it on a lampstand, that those who enter may see the light.
- Can a woman forget her nursing child,
And not have compassion on the son of her womb?
Surely they may forget,
Yet I will not forget you.
See, I have inscribed you on the palms of My hands;
Your walls are continually before Me. - I will strengthen the house of Judah,
And I will save the house of Joseph.
I will bring them back,
Because I have mercy on them.
They shall be as though I had not cast them aside;
For I am the Lord their God,
And I will hear them. - On the last day, that great day of the feast, Jesus stood and cried out, saying, “If anyone thirsts, let him come to Me and drink.”
- The sacrifices of God are a broken spirit,
A broken and a contrite heart—
These, O God, You will not despise. - And without controversy great is the mystery of godliness:
God was manifested in the flesh,
Justified in the Spirit,
Seen by angels,
Preached among the Gentiles,
Believed on in the world,
Received up in glory. - No one has seen God at any time. If we love one another, God abides in us, and His love has been perfected in us.
