- For the creation waits with eager expectation for the children of God to be revealed.
- So we fasted and begged our God for this, and he granted our request.
- Blessed are the peacemakers,
for they shall be called children of God. - We know that the Son of God has come and has given us an understanding, that we know him who is true; and we are in him who is true, in his Son Jesus Christ. This is the true God and eternal life.
- For so has the Lord commanded us, saying,
‘I have set you as a light for the Gentiles,
that you should bring salvation to the uttermost parts of the earth.’ - Therefore let’s also, seeing we are surrounded by so great a cloud of witnesses, lay aside every weight and the sin which so easily entangles us, and let’s run with perseverance the race that is set before us.
- Let us search and try our ways,
and turn again to Yahweh. - Let no man say when he is tempted, “I am tempted by God,” for God can’t be tempted by evil, and he himself tempts no one.
- Yahweh God made garments of animal skins for Adam and for his wife, and clothed them.
- If anyone destroys God’s temple, God will destroy him; for God’s temple is holy, which you are.
- So teach us to count our days,
that we may gain a heart of wisdom. - There remains therefore a Sabbath rest for the people of God. For he who has entered into his rest has himself also rested from his works, as God did from his.
- Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies and God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our affliction, that we may be able to comfort those who are in any affliction, through the comfort with which we ourselves are comforted by God.
- For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared before that we would walk in them.
- Seeing that his divine power has granted to us all things that pertain to life and godliness, through the knowledge of him who called us by his own glory and virtue.
- For you will light my lamp, Yahweh.
My God will light up my darkness. - For every house is built by someone; but he who built all things is God.
- For the love of Christ compels us; because we judge thus: that one died for all, therefore all died. He died for all, that those who live should no longer live to themselves, but to him who for their sakes died and rose again.
- For I consider that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which will be revealed toward us.
- Namely, that God was in Christ reconciling the world to himself, not reckoning to them their trespasses, and having committed to us the word of reconciliation.
- In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.
- Who delivered us out of the power of darkness, and translated us into the Kingdom of the Son of his love, in whom we have our redemption, the forgiveness of our sins.
- Behold, I am Yahweh, the God of all flesh. Is there anything too hard for me?
- For I am not ashamed of the Good News of Christ, because it is the power of God for salvation for everyone who believes, for the Jew first, and also for the Greek.
- I don’t reject the grace of God. For if righteousness is through the law, then Christ died for nothing!
