| The Lord bless thee, and keep thee: The Lord make his face shine upon thee, and be gracious unto thee: The Lord lift up his countenance upon thee, and give thee peace. | The Lord bless you and keep you. The Lord shine his face upon you and be gracious to you. The Lord look upon you kindly and give you peace. |
| But now in Christ Jesus ye who sometimes were far off are made nigh by the blood of Christ. | But now in Christ Jesus, you who once were far off have been brought near through the blood of Christ. |
| And this is life eternal, that they might know thee the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom thou hast sent. | And eternal life is this: to know you, the only true God, and the one you have sent, Jesus Christ. |
