Giving to the needy (2/4)

You must neither add anything to what I command you nor take away anything from it, but keep the commandments of the Lord your God with which I am charging you.You will not add to what I command you, nor will you take away from it, so that you might observe the commandments of the Lord, your God, that I am giving you.
And he said to them, “Go into all the world and proclaim the good news to the whole creation.”Then he said to them, “Go forth into the whole world and proclaim the gospel to all creation.”
The unfolding of your words gives light; it imparts understanding to the simple. The explanation of your words gives light and imparts understanding to the simple.
When one will not listen to the law, even one's prayers are an abomination. When anyone turns a deaf ear to the law, even his prayer is detestable.

I fell to the ground and heard a voice saying to me, ‘Saul, Saul, why are you persecuting me?’I fell to the ground and heard a voice saying, ‘Saul, Saul, why are you persecuting me?’

Jesus said to him, “I am the way, and the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.”Jesus replied, “I am the way, and the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.”
For your steadfast love is as high as the heavens; your faithfulness extends to the clouds. For your kindness extends to the heavens; your faithfulness, to the skies.
Sing praises to the Lord, for he has done gloriously; let this be known in all the earth.Sing praise to the Lord for his mighty deeds; let this be known throughout the entire world.
I will sing to the Lord as long as I live; I will sing praise to my God while I have being.I will sing to the Lord as long as I live; I will sing praise to my God while I have life.
May the Lord direct your hearts to the love of God and to the steadfastness of Christ.May the Lord guide your hearts to the love of God and the steadfastness of Christ.
O give thanks to the Lord, for he is good; for his steadfast love endures forever.Give thanks to the Lord, for he is good; his mercy endures forever.

Do not think that I have come to bring peace to the earth; I have not come to bring peace, but a sword.Do not think that I have come to bring peace to the earth. I have not come to bring peace but a sword.
Lying lips are an abomination to the Lord, but those who act faithfully are his delight. The Lord abhors lying lips, but he delights in those who are truthful.
Because they exchanged the truth about God for a lie and worshiped and served the creature rather than the Creator, who is blessed forever! Amen. For this reason God gave them up to degrading passions. Their women exchanged natural intercourse for unnatural, and in the same way also the men, giving up natural intercourse with women, were consumed with passion for one another. Men committed shameless acts with men and received in their own persons the due penalty for their error. And since they did not see fit to acknowledge God, God gave them up to a debased mind and to things that should not be done. They exchanged the truth of God for a lie and offered worship and service to the creature rather than to the Creator, who is blessed forever. Amen. That is why God abandoned them to their shameful passions. Their women exchanged natural intercourse for unnatural practices. Likewise, men gave up natural relations with women and were consumed with passion for one another. Men committed shameful acts with men and received in their own persons the fitting penalty for their perversion. Furthermore, since these people did not see fit to acknowledge God, he abandoned them to their depraved way of thinking and to all types of vile behavior.
For we have become partners of Christ, if only we hold our first confidence firm to the end.For we will become partners with Christ only if we maintain firmly until the end the confidence we originally had.

To the King of the ages, immortal, invisible, the only God, be honor and glory forever and ever. Amen.To the King of the ages, immortal, invisible, the only God, be honor and glory forever and ever. Amen.
But as for me, I will look to the Lord, I will wait for the God of my salvation; my God will hear me.But as for me, I will look to the Lord. I place my hope in God my savior; my God will hear me.
There is one body and one Spirit, just as you were called to the one hope of your calling. There is one body and one Spirit, as well as one hope to which you have been called by your vocation.
And we are witnesses to these things, and so is the Holy Spirit whom God has given to those who obey him.And we are witnesses to these things, as is the Holy Spirit whom God has given to those who obey him.

The one who testifies to these things says, “Surely I am coming soon.” Amen. Come, Lord Jesus! The one who gives this testimony says, “Yes, I am coming soon.” Amen. Come, Lord Jesus!
