- For there is one God and one mediator between God and mankind, the man Christ Jesus.
- For the Lord your God will bless you as he has promised, and you will lend to many nations but will borrow from none. You will rule over many nations but none will rule over you.

What can mere mortals do to me? - May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.
- Sorrowful, yet always rejoicing; poor, yet making many rich; having nothing, and yet possessing everything.
- But you, dear friends, by building yourselves up in your most holy faith and praying in the Holy Spirit, keep yourselves in God’s love as you wait for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ to bring you to eternal life.
- Again Jesus said, “Peace be with you! As the Father has sent me, I am sending you.”
- Observe the Sabbath day by keeping it holy, as the Lord your God has commanded you. Six days you shall labor and do all your work, but the seventh day is a sabbath to the Lord your God. On it you shall not do any work, neither you, nor your son or daughter, nor your male or female servant, nor your ox, your donkey or any of your animals, nor any foreigner residing in your towns, so that your male and female servants may rest, as you do.

- Our God is in heaven;
he does whatever pleases him. - No one has ever seen God; but if we love one another, God lives in us and his love is made complete in us.
- My salvation and my honor depend on God;
he is my mighty rock, my refuge. - For you were once darkness, but now you are light in the Lord. Live as children of light.
- Husbands, in the same way be considerate as you live with your wives, and treat them with respect as the weaker partner and as heirs with you of the gracious gift of life, so that nothing will hinder your prayers.
- Therefore encourage one another and build each other up, just as in fact you are doing.
- Blessed are the pure in heart,
for they will see God. - Religion that God our Father accepts as pure and faultless is this: to look after orphans and widows in their distress and to keep oneself from being polluted by the world.
- Surely, Lord, you bless the righteous;
you surround them with your favor as with a shield. - Jesus looked at them and said, “With man this is impossible, but not with God; all things are possible with God.”
- I will strengthen Judah
and save the tribes of Joseph.
I will restore them
because I have compassion on them.
They will be as though
I had not rejected them,
for I am the Lord their God
and I will answer them.
And we all, who with unveiled faces contemplate the Lord’s glory, are being transformed into his image with ever-increasing glory, which comes from the Lord, who is the Spirit. Therefore, as God’s chosen people, holy and dearly loved, clothe yourselves with compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness and patience.Next verse!With image
