- As for God, his way is perfect;
the word of the Lord is tried:
he is a buckler to all them that trust in him. - Thou therefore, my son, be strong in the grace that is in Christ Jesus.
- Whosoever shall confess that Jesus is the Son of God, God dwelleth in him, and he in God.
- A little that a righteous man hath
is better than the riches of many wicked.
For the arms of the wicked shall be broken:
but the Lord upholdeth the righteous. - Now all this was done, that it might be fulfilled which was spoken of the Lord by the prophet, saying, Behold, a virgin shall be with child, and shall bring forth a son, and they shall call his name Emmanuel, which being interpreted is, God with us.
- I thank thee, and praise thee, O thou God of my fathers,
who hast given me wisdom and might,
and hast made known unto me now what we desired of thee:
for thou hast now made known unto us the king's matter. - No man hath seen God at any time, the only begotten Son, which is in the bosom of the Father, he hath declared him.
- The name of the Lord is a strong tower:
the righteous runneth into it, and is safe. - Be strong and of a good courage, fear not, nor be afraid of them: for the Lord thy God, he it is that doth go with thee; he will not fail thee, nor forsake thee.
- Glory to God in the highest,
and on earth peace, good will toward men. - Beloved, let us love one another: for love is of God; and every one that loveth is born of God, and knoweth God.
- But God, who is rich in mercy, for his great love wherewith he loved us, Even when we were dead in sins, hath quickened us together with Christ, (by grace ye are saved).
- For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus.
- There is none holy as the Lord:
for there is none beside thee:
neither is there any rock like our God. - And not only so, but we glory in tribulations also: knowing that tribulation worketh patience; And patience, experience; and experience, hope.
- Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.
- My soul thirsteth for God, for the living God:
when shall I come and appear before God? - And the times of this ignorance God winked at; but now commandeth all men every where to repent.
- Thine, O Lord is the greatness, and the power, and the glory, and the victory, and the majesty: for all that is in the heaven and in the earth is thine; thine is the kingdom, O Lord, and thou art exalted as head above all.
- And this is the record, that God hath given to us eternal life, and this life is in his Son.
- That he would grant you, according to the riches of his glory, to be strengthened with might by his Spirit in the inner man; That Christ may dwell in your hearts by faith; that ye, being rooted and grounded in love.
- Who is he that overcometh the world, but he that believeth that Jesus is the Son of God?
- And Jesus looking upon them saith, With men it is impossible, but not with God: for with God all things are possible.
- No man hath seen God at any time. If we love one another, God dwelleth in us, and his love is perfected in us.
- My soul, wait thou only upon God;
for my expectation is from him.
And this commandment have we from him, That he who loveth God love his brother also. And though I have the gift of prophecy, and understand all mysteries, and all knowledge; and though I have all faith, so that I could remove mountains, and have not charity, I am nothing.Next verse!With image
