- The Spirit of the Lord God is upon me,
Because the Lord anointed me
To bring good news to the humble;
He has sent me to bind up the brokenhearted,
To proclaim release to captives
And freedom to prisoners. - The sacrifices of God are a broken spirit;
A broken and a contrite heart, God, You will not despise. - For who is God, but the Lord?
And who is a rock, except our God? - Know therefore that the Lord your God, He is God, the faithful God, who keeps His covenant and His faithfulness to a thousand generations for those who love Him and keep His commandments.
- Do not be wise in your own eyes;
Fear the Lord and turn away from evil.
It will be healing to your body
And refreshment to your bones. - For who is God, except the Lord?
And who is a rock, except our God? - No one is to say when he is tempted, “I am being tempted by God”; for God cannot be tempted by evil, and He Himself does not tempt anyone.
- Blessed be the Lord, who daily bears our burden,
The God who is our salvation. Selah - So you shall keep His statutes and His commandments which I am giving you today, so that it may go well for you and for your children after you, and that you may live long on the land which the Lord your God is giving you for all time.
- This is the word of the Lord to Zerubbabel, saying, ‘Not by might nor by power, but by My Spirit,’ says the Lord of armies.
- So having overlooked the times of ignorance, God is now proclaiming to mankind that all people everywhere are to repent.
- Be strong and courageous, do not be afraid or in dread of them, for the Lord your God is the One who is going with you. He will not desert you or abandon you.

Be acceptable in Your sight,
Lord, my rock and my Redeemer. - A joyful heart is good medicine,
But a broken spirit dries up the bones. - For nothing will be impossible with God.

- By faith even Sarah herself received ability to conceive, even beyond the proper time of life, since she considered Him faithful who had promised.
- And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, so that you may prove what the will of God is, that which is good and acceptable and perfect.
- And He has said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for power is perfected in weakness.” Most gladly, therefore, I will rather boast about my weaknesses, so that the power of Christ may dwell in me.
- Jesus answered and said to them, “This is the work of God, that you believe in Him whom He has sent.”
- No one has seen God at any time; God the only Son, who is in the arms of the Father, He has explained Him.
