- So all this was done that it might be fulfilled which was spoken by the Lord through the prophet, saying: “Behold, the virgin shall be with child, and bear a Son, and they shall call His name Immanuel,” which is translated, “God with us.”

And You are exalted as head over all. - That He would grant you, according to the riches of His glory, to be strengthened with might through His Spirit in the inner man, that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith; that you, being rooted and grounded in love.
- My soul thirsts for God, for the living God.
When shall I come and appear before God? - And this is the testimony: that God has given us eternal life, and this life is in His Son.
- Be strong and of good courage, do not fear nor be afraid of them; for the Lord your God, He is the One who goes with you. He will not leave you nor forsake you.
- Who is he who overcomes the world, but he who believes that Jesus is the Son of God?
- Then Peter opened his mouth and said: “In truth I perceive that God shows no partiality. But in every nation whoever fears Him and works righteousness is accepted by Him.”
- Now hope does not disappoint, because the love of God has been poured out in our hearts by the Holy Spirit who was given to us.
- For I have satiated the weary soul, and I have replenished every sorrowful soul.
- But Jesus looked at them and said, “With men it is impossible, but not with God; for with God all things are possible.”
- You are of God, little children, and have overcome them, because He who is in you is greater than he who is in the world.
- My soul, wait silently for God alone,
For my expectation is from Him.
