- The Lord is my light and my salvation;
Whom shall I fear?
The Lord is the strength of my life;
Of whom shall I be afraid? - Blessed is the nation whose God is the Lord,
The people He has chosen as His own inheritance. - What then shall we say to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us?
- For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.
- God is faithful, by whom you were called into the fellowship of His Son, Jesus Christ our Lord.
- This is the message which we have heard from Him and declare to you, that God is light and in Him is no darkness at all.
- For the Lord your God is gracious and merciful, and will not turn His face from you if you return to Him.
- And we have known and believed the love that God has for us. God is love, and he who abides in love abides in God, and God in him.
- Do not be deceived, God is not mocked; for whatever a man sows, that he will also reap.
- Every word of God is pure;
He is a shield to those who put their trust in Him. - For when we were still without strength, in due time Christ died for the ungodly.
- The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand. Repent, and believe in the gospel.
- I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.
- No temptation has overtaken you except such as is common to man; but God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted beyond what you are able, but with the temptation will also make the way of escape, that you may be able to bear it.
- God is not a man, that He should lie,
Nor a son of man, that He should repent.
Has He said, and will He not do?
Or has He spoken, and will He not make it good? - Honor your father and your mother, that your days may be long upon the land which the Lord your God is giving you.
- And God is able to make all grace abound toward you, that you, always having all sufficiency in all things, may have an abundance for every good work.
- For God is not unjust to forget your work and labor of love which you have shown toward His name, in that you have ministered to the saints, and do minister.
- Have I not commanded you? Be strong and of good courage; do not be afraid, nor be dismayed, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go.
- For in it the righteousness of God is revealed from faith to faith; as it is written, “The just shall live by faith.”
- But I will sing of Your power;
Yes, I will sing aloud of Your mercy in the morning;
For You have been my defense
And refuge in the day of my trouble. - And He said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for My strength is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore most gladly I will rather boast in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me.
- Do not be wise in your own eyes;
Fear the Lord and depart from evil.
It will be health to your flesh,
And strength to your bones. - Let the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart
Be acceptable in Your sight,
O Lord, my strength and my Redeemer. - If anyone defiles the temple of God, God will destroy him. For the temple of God is holy, which temple you are.
