- It is the Lord who goes before you. He will be with you; he will not leave you or forsake you. Do not fear or be dismayed.

but it shall accomplish that which I purpose,
and shall succeed in the thing for which I sent it. - And he said to them, “Then are you also without understanding? Do you not see that whatever goes into a person from outside cannot defile him, since it enters not his heart but his stomach, and is expelled?” (Thus he declared all foods clean.)

but he who rejects reproof leads others astray. - Beloved, I pray that all may go well with you and that you may be in good health, as it goes well with your soul.
- Before destruction a man's heart is haughty,
but humility comes before honor. - The fear of the Lord is instruction in wisdom,
and humility comes before honor. - Not to us, O Lord, not to us, but to your name give glory,
for the sake of your steadfast love and your faithfulness! - The prudent sees danger and hides himself,
but the simple go on and suffer for it. - But when the Helper comes, whom I will send to you from the Father, the Spirit of truth, who proceeds from the Father, he will bear witness about me.
- Every athlete exercises self-control in all things. They do it to receive a perishable wreath, but we an imperishable.
- Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be frightened, and do not be dismayed, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go.
- If you obey the commandments of the Lord your God that I command you today, by loving the Lord your God, by walking in his ways, and by keeping his commandments and his statutes and his rules, then you shall live and multiply, and the Lord your God will bless you in the land that you are entering to take possession of it.
By this we know love, that he laid down his life for us, and we ought to lay down our lives for the brothers. And let us not grow weary of doing good, for in due season we will reap, if we do not give up.Next verse!With image
