Teach me to do Your will, For You are my God; Your Spirit is good. Lead me in the land of uprightness.Teach me to do your will, for you are my God. Let your gracious Spirit lead me along a level path.
Who is wise and understanding among you? Let him show by good conduct that his works are done in the meekness of wisdom.Who among you is wise and understanding? Prove by your good life that your works are done with the humility that comes from wisdom.
Anxiety in the heart of man causes depression, But a good word makes it glad.Anxiety in the human heart weighs it down, but a kind word makes it glad.
Stand therefore, having girded your waist with truth, having put on the breastplate of righteousness, and having shod your feet with the preparation of the gospel of peace; above all, taking the shield of faith with which you will be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked one.Stand firm, then, with the belt of truth fastened around your waist, with the breastplate of righteousness clothing you, and with your feet shod in zeal to proclaim the gospel of peace. In all circumstances, hold in your hand the shield of faith with which you will be able to quench all the flaming arrows of the evil one.

For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand that we should walk in them.For we are God’s handiwork, created in Christ Jesus for a life of good works that God had prepared for us to do.
Do not fear, little flock, for it is your Father’s good pleasure to give you the kingdom.Fear not, little flock, for your Father has chosen to give you the kingdom.
Being confident of this very thing, that He who has begun a good work in you will complete it until the day of Jesus Christ.I am confident of this: that the one who began a good work in you will bring it to completion on the day of Christ Jesus.
O my soul, you have said to the Lord, “You are my Lord, My goodness is nothing apart from You.”I say to the Lord, “You are my Lord; I have no good apart from you.”
Therefore, leaving the discussion of the elementary principles of Christ, let us go on to perfection, not laying again the foundation of repentance from dead works and of faith toward God, of the doctrine of baptisms, of laying on of hands, of resurrection of the dead, and of eternal judgment.Therefore, let us leave behind the basic teaching about Christ and advance toward maturity. We must not be forever laying the foundation: repentance for actions that lead to death, faith in God, instruction about baptisms and the laying on of hands, the resurrection of the dead, and eternal judgment.
Learn to do good; Seek justice, Rebuke the oppressor; Defend the fatherless, Plead for the widow.And learn to do good. Pursue justice and rescue the oppressed; listen to the plea of the orphan and defend the widow.
For He satisfies the longing soul, And fills the hungry soul with goodness.He has satisfied the thirsty and filled the hungry with good things.
But as for you, you meant evil against me; but God meant it for good, in order to bring it about as it is this day, to save many people alive.You intended to do evil to me, but God decided to make it serve a good, to fulfill that which today has come true: to keep alive a numerous people.
See that no one renders evil for evil to anyone, but always pursue what is good both for yourselves and for all.Make sure that no one pays back evil for evil. Rather, always aim to achieve what is best for each other and for everyone.
Good and upright is the Lord; Therefore He teaches sinners in the way. The humble He guides in justice, And the humble He teaches His way.Good and upright is the Lord; therefore, he instructs sinners in his ways. He guides the humble in what is right and teaches them the path to follow.
Who gave Himself for us, that He might redeem us from every lawless deed and purify for Himself His own special people, zealous for good works.He gave himself for us in order to deliver us from all iniquity and to purify for himself a people as his own who are eager to do good.
He has shown you, O man, what is good; And what does the Lord require of you But to do justly, To love mercy, And to walk humbly with your God?The Lord has told you, O man, what is good. And let us not grow weary while doing good, for in due season we shall reap if we do not lose heart.Let us never grow weary in doing what is right, for if we do not give up, we will reap our harvest in due time.
He who gets wisdom loves his own soul; He who keeps understanding will find good.Whoever gains wisdom loves his own soul; one who cherishes understanding will prosper.
Here is what I have seen: It is good and fitting for one to eat and drink, and to enjoy the good of all his labor in which he toils under the sun all the days of his life which God gives him; for it is his heritage.This is the conclusion I have reached: it is fitting for a man to eat and drink and find satisfaction in the results of his labors under the sun during the brief span of life that God has allotted him.
If you then, being evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to those who ask Him!If you, then, despite your evil nature, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will the heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to those who ask him!
I know that nothing is better for them than to rejoice, and to do good in their lives, and also that every man should eat and drink and enjoy the good of all his labor—it is the gift of God.I understand that man’s greatest happiness is to be glad and do well throughout his life. And when we eat and drink and find satisfaction in all our labors, this is a gift of God.
But the wisdom that is from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, willing to yield, full of mercy and good fruits, without partiality and without hypocrisy.However, the wisdom that comes from above is first of all pure, then peaceable, gentle, and considerate, full of mercy and good fruits, without any trace of partiality or hypocrisy.

Though the fig tree may not blossom,
Nor fruit be on the vines;
Though the labor of the olive may fail,
And the fields yield no food;
Though the flock may be cut off from the fold,
And there be no herd in the stalls—
Yet I will rejoice in the Lord,
I will joy in the God of my salvation.
