  • And the shepherds went back, glorifying and praising God for all that they had heard and seen, just as had been told them.

  • By faith even Sarah herself received ability to conceive, even beyond the proper time of life, since she considered Him faithful who had promised.
  • And I will strengthen the house of Judah,
    And I will save the house of Joseph,
    And I will bring them back,
    Because I have had compassion on them;
    And they will be as though I had not rejected them,
    For I am the Lord their God and I will answer them.
  • Because I saved the poor who cried for help,
    And the orphan who had no helper.
    The blessing of the one who was about to perish came upon me,
    And I made the widow’s heart sing for joy.
  • As they had their pasture, they became satisfied,
    And as they became satisfied, their heart became proud;
    Therefore they forgot Me.
  • When they heard this, they were baptized in the name of the Lord Jesus. And when Paul had laid hands upon them, the Holy Spirit came on them and they began speaking with tongues and prophesying.
  • So the other disciple who had first come to the tomb also entered then, and he saw and believed. For they did not yet understand the Scripture, that He must rise from the dead.
  • I did not eat any tasty food, nor did meat or wine enter my mouth, nor did I use any ointment at all until the entire three weeks were completed.
  • So Jesus was saying to those Jews who had believed Him, “If you continue in My word, then you are truly My disciples; and you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free.”
  • And He is the radiance of His glory and the exact representation of His nature, and upholds all things by the word of His power. When He had made purification of sins, He sat down at the right hand of the Majesty on high.
  • Now John himself had a garment of camel’s hair and a leather belt around his waist; and his food was locusts and wild honey.
  • If only they had such a heart in them, to fear Me and keep all My commandments always, so that it would go well with them and with their sons forever!
  • And when He had taken some bread and given thanks, He broke it and gave it to them, saying, “This is My body, which is being given for you; do this in remembrance of Me.”
  • And the congregation of those who believed were of one heart and soul; and not one of them claimed that anything belonging to him was his own, but all things were common property to them.
  • So the church throughout Judea, Galilee, and Samaria enjoyed peace, as it was being built up; and as it continued in the fear of the Lord and in the comfort of the Holy Spirit, it kept increasing.

And in the same way He took the cup after they had eaten, saying, “This cup, which is poured out for you, is the new covenant in My blood.”
