| And he answered them, “Whoever has two tunics is to share with him who has none, and whoever has food is to do likewise.” | He answereth and saith unto them, He that hath two coats, let him impart to him that hath none; and he that hath meat, let him do likewise. |

| No one has ever seen God; the only God, who is at the Father's side, he has made him known. | No man hath seen God at any time, the only begotten Son, which is in the bosom of the Father, he hath declared him. |
| Arise, shine, for your light has come, and the glory of the Lord has risen upon you. | Arise, shine; for thy light is come, and the glory of the Lord is risen upon thee. |
| But, as it is written, “What no eye has seen, nor ear heard, nor the heart of man imagined, what God has prepared for those who love him” | But as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him. |
| No one who denies the Son has the Father. Whoever confesses the Son has the Father also. | Whosoever denieth the Son, the same hath not the Father: he that acknowledgeth the Son hath the Father also. |
| He has made everything beautiful in its time. Also, he has put eternity into man's heart, yet so that he cannot find out what God has done from the beginning to the end. | He hath made every thing beautiful in his time: also he hath set the world in their heart, so that no man can find out the work that God maketh from the beginning to the end. |
| Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old has passed away; behold, the new has come. | Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new. |
| Whoever is slow to anger has great understanding, but he who has a hasty temper exalts folly. | He that is slow to wrath is of great understanding: but he that is hasty of spirit exalteth folly. |
| This is the day that the Lord has made; let us rejoice and be glad in it. | This is the day which the Lord hath made; we will rejoice and be glad in it. |
| And hope does not put us to shame, because God's love has been poured into our hearts through the Holy Spirit who has been given to us. | And hope maketh not ashamed; because the love of God is shed abroad in our hearts by the Holy Ghost which is given unto us. |
| No one has ever seen God; if we love one another, God abides in us and his love is perfected in us. | No man hath seen God at any time. If we love one another, God dwelleth in us, and his love is perfected in us. |

| God is not man, that he should lie, or a son of man, that he should change his mind. Has he said, and will he not do it? Or has he spoken, and will he not fulfill it? | God is not a man, that he should lie; neither the son of man, that he should repent: hath he said, and shall he not do it? or hath he spoken, and shall he not make it good? |
| Sing praises to the Lord, for he has done gloriously; let this be made known in all the earth. | Sing unto the Lord; for he hath done excellent things: this is known in all the earth. |
| And now I am about to go the way of all the earth, and you know in your hearts and souls, all of you, that not one word has failed of all the good things that the Lord your God promised concerning you. All have come to pass for you; not one of them has failed. | And, behold, this day I am going the way of all the earth: and ye know in all your hearts and in all your souls, that not one thing hath failed of all the good things which the Lord your God spake concerning you; all are come to pass unto you, and not one thing hath failed thereof. |
